I have written about this island in my review of the "Hop on, Hop off" city tour. For the life of me I cannot imagine why anyone can or could rate this attraction as anything less than very good to excellent. What was going on there that out of 898 reviews there are 40 reviews rated as below average? I... More

Catch the public BKK boat and get off at the island, turn right and head to the Japanese garden before walking back through lush greenery. See the locals havibg a picnic or playing football. Look for the beautiful St Michaels church and when tired of walking jump on the bus back to Margaret s bridge. A great relaxing way to... More

What a great place for a leisurely stroll in fresh air after the buzz of the city. Take a cruise on Danube, get off on Margaret island, rent a bike and check out romantic walkways, medieval ruins, a small zoo, musical fountain, etc...you won't be disappointed. Devote 2-3 hours to explore and enjoy the serenity on Margaret Island!

We stumbled on this using one of the hop off stops on the boat trip (giraffe hop on hop off bus tour) and after working out how to get through to the main part ended up spending most of the afternoon there - you can also get there by bus or walk as there is a bridge. You can hire... More

We visited here by chance due to a boat tour. It's very small with beautiful gardens and surroundings. There was a part we walked into where locals gave us very dirty looks but noone offered insight as to why, or if we should be in that part- there were opera singers but we wernt sure if this was an open... A great place to spend one day. Renting of a bicycle is a must. There you can also find electromobiles.

This island in the middle of the Danube is beautiful. You can hire bikes and ride around this lovely island. There are places to eat and drink, ruins, gardens, a small animal zoo and a beautiful water fountain which change colour and patterns to music. It is a very well kept and clean park and it is a lovely place... More

It was a perfect sunny 26c which made it tiring to walk around but there is plenty of benches to sit on. Unfortunately the Japanese garden was closed which looked the best free attraction. The running track around the perimeter is 5250m long and is quite bouncy where it is still intact. On the right hand side of the island... More

Spent a couple of hours on this island on the Danube. There are no cars allowed and we got around on bicycles and electric car. The island has ruins, gardens, fountains and is very peaceful. Great place
