Dear Thetre Goers, Do yourself a favor, and don`t go for this awful performance! I have been sitting there for roughly 40 minutes, and I could not wait until the break, had to leave the show. Both actors are famous among hungarians, but they failed to convince me about their greatness. None of their jokes,or else came through. It was a real waste of... More

We (a couple) had a chance to visit this theater two times to see Joseph (and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) and Mary Poppins. During first show, we were sitting on the balcony far away from the stage but in the center that made possible to see everything. During second time, our seats were located much closer to the stage but... More

I absolutely love this theatre and the professional productions they present. I don't speak Hungarian, but have seen several wonderful shoes here - Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Joseph. The cast work so hard and really become their characters, the set and costumes are new and innovative - not always following the westend or broadway original. The... More

We were staying at the Corinthia hotel just a few doors away and the concierge was nice enough to offer us tickets one night so we went. We found it to be a very nice small and intimate theater to watch a performance. This place I believe is over shadowed by the Great opera house and Operetta theater so does... More

We watched "Cats" musical in completely full theatre on Saturday evening. The show was fantastic, really something special. Top-notch performance was followed by a long, long ovations. Book your tickets in advance and enjoy!

My son found out before we left that this theatre was playing "Phantom of the Opera". Thank goodness he did because we saw absolutely no adverts in Budapest! We went directly to the theatre where we were able to buy two tickets (6200 HUF each - about 20 Euros) for the Friday night performance. The orchestra was live - the... More

We saw Joseph here on 24 March. Before the visit I kept remindning myself that this is not the West End in London so I shouldn't expect anything amazing. But the show was fantastic. They had English subtitles which is helpful. The theatre was packed to capacity. The performers all had amazing voices, the show probably didn't have as an... More
