The adventure centre is covered by a giant dome, 5-storey high and of a diameter of 72 m. It is so big it could host comfortably a family of blue whales, the biggest animals on Earth. The monumental replica Angkor temple surrounded by suspension bridges, towers and pools is a breath-taking sight. The world of the "serene statues" is a perfect counterpoint to the use of the most modern architectural and technical solutions, in line with the Aquaworld conception, to create a modern shrine of aquatic culture offering complex adventures to visitors. Aquaworld is located on the northern outskirts of Budapest, at the Pest abutment of Megyeri Bridge, along the M0 ring, in a green area, yet close to the town centre. It has an outdoor car park with a capacity of more than 1000, easily accessible via the Aquaworld exit of the new Budapest M0 ring. « less

If you are from the US and have visited Wet n' Wild, The Beach, etc. - this will be a big let down. If you live in Europe, it will be pretty decent. We have a toddler - and the two-hour pass was all we needed (you get an extra 15 minutes for changing, etc.). There is a free shuttle... More

All the way we go… in the indoor adventure pool, 11 slides of a total length of almost 1 km guarantee adventure and entertainment throughout the year. The slide tower next to the dome, the entry point of 6 giant slides, is accessible by glass lift or stairs. The bravest can take a breathtaking ride from as high as 17... More

A bit outside the city centre (north of it) Aquaworld is an amazing place. Specially in summer, as you can also enjoy its gardens. Many pool games for each age, and a very nice inside restaurant/cafeteria allowing you to spend the whole day there. If you spend a long stay in Budapest, and your children are bored from visiting too... More

Our experience at Aquaworld was good. We read a few reviews before going so were well informed what it was about. It wasn't a "have to" but was still fun. The slides were good, could have been faster or bit more exciting. We spent about 3 hours there and the baths outside in the sun on a good day were... More

After a city walk or days, this is a fantastic treat for kids. Kids under 1.40 are limited to take the slides. But if you go to the sauna area and you are signing a agreement your child his having a pink bracelet and he or she can take every slide! My boys really enjoyed it.

We spent four nights in the adjacent Ramada hotel because it is connected with the Aquaworld and it was meant to be a treat for our daughter who just loves water attractions. Unfortunately it seems that the Aquaworld is not really meant for the children of her age (7). She is rather too old to enjoy small slides for little... More

In a country with such experience for bath, I must say that this was was just average and I have seen much beter in Hungary. The reception staff did not speak enghlish so we had to find our way on our own (a bit difficult as all the signs are in hungarian language). I did not feel that is absolutely... More

Kind of in the outback of budapest you need to take the yellow line to ..... then the tram to...... then a 15 min walk located next to the ramada hotel. Be sure to be on time we had to wait one and a half hours to get in cause it was full and everybody decided to go swimming it... More

Bad comments first - misses the mark with the key 6-10 year old demographic. They have, and enforce pretty well, height restrictions on 8 of the waterslides. Mr. 7 years old at 125cm was just a tad too short for everything. His overwhelming, bouncing-off-the-walls, excitement got a bucket of pool water dumped on it when we got blocked at the... More
