The Aquaworld is one of the biggest indoor water theme parks in Europe...

The Aquaworld is one of the biggest indoor water theme parks in Europe offers unforgettable entertainment to visitors of every age throughout the year. The adventure centre is covered by a giant dome, 5-storey high and of a diameter of 72 m. It is so big it could host comfortably a family of blue whales, the biggest animals on Earth. The monumental replica Angkor temple surrounded by suspension bridges, towers and pools is a breath-taking sight. The world of the "serene statues" is a perfect counterpoint to the use of the most modern architectural and technical solutions, in line with the Aquaworld conception, to create a modern shrine of aquatic culture offering complex adventures to visitors. Aquaworld is located on the northern outskirts of Budapest, at the Pest abutment of Megyeri Bridge, along the M0 ring, in a green area, yet close to the town centre. It has an outdoor car park with a capacity of more than 1000, easily accessible via the Aquaworld exit of the new Budapest M0 ring.

For a couple this is more of a half day activity than a full day. It is a taxi ride away from the city centre however it doesn't cost too much to get there. Really enjoyed the outside pool area as the water is warm and outside was cold. Great fun! The sauna is free to use on a Wednesday... More

We went on a weekday so it was not very crowded at all. Lots of pools, slides, wave pool and hot tubs. Great to be able to swim to the outdoor pool and see snow all around. 90% of the slides were open, though there were schedules for some. Nice place to spend the day when it is snowing outside!

We were one adult, a 13, 11 and 6 year old. Check-in at the hotel is 2PM. We arrived at 2:20P and waited in line at the front desk until 3:05PM (45 minutes!). As the person in front of us checked in to a junior suite, which is what we had booked, she was told that her room wasn't ready.... More

In my first review, I gave 5 points to Aquaworld. It was right after first opening. Since then we have been here for many times and the level dramatically went down. Last time when we were here, only 2 slides were operating (out of 6 or 7), elevator was closed (surely not for just maintenance, because the way of closing... More

I think that it is one of the biggest indoor water parks in Europe. There are plenty of relaxingly hot swimming pools, spas, jacuzzi pools, sauna halls and waterslides. The entrance fee is quite affordable in comparison with other thermal spa and bath centers and the place is fun, relaxing and ideal for the whole family.I think that it is the best place to let off... An excellent resting zone! We have been there all day, it was a weekday and therefore has not been loaded. All water slides are super! The sauna area also very nice. I recommend to visit saunas, be notice that in some days you must be without swimsuits.

Only two slides work and the rest ( I think 7 or 8) are out of order. Other attractions like the surfing wave is also out. Yet you pay the full price. This is bad because it is not even announced in the website. Lucky that we did not stay at the resort and stay in central Budapest instead. On... More

We visited this hotel for 3 nights, we ordered Buda Hills view, which was good for us, since it's oriented on the west side - direct sunshine comes on the afternoon till evening. We have also in the price half board - excellent and various food offer for breakfast and dinner. Best thing, we appreciate, we can go directly in... More
