We took the Orientation Tour with our guide, Dora. Excellent tor that starts on the Pest side of town and ends up in the Castle District in Buda. Dora was very knowledgeable and sopke perfect English. The tour took around 2 1/2 hours and carried out at a very relaxing speed. It was ideal for our first day in Budapest... More

We took the original tour with Vickie and the communist tour with Ursula. Both tours were fabulous and our trip was more meaningful because of it. Even our children found the tours to be great. They are 12 & 16. Don't miss these tours.

This was the first tour I took of Budapest and though it did a thorough introduction to the Buda side it didn't really go over the Pest side at all. I also felt that this "free tour" had more pressure on it to tip than other "free tours" I've done and felt awkward tipping, no matter how much I was... More

It is always great to walk with a local. She told a lot of interesting, important stories about the Hungarian history and present day. It was very interesting for me. They have shown not only very famous places, but also some interesting or funny things, which I wouldn't find by my own.

We did the faith, terror & communist tour with Ursula. It was excellent, she is a mine of information and so enthusiastic about the subjects. I feel that I know so much about the history of Budapest that I would never learn from reading about it. She made it enjoyable, I would definitely recommend it and only wish we had... More

Andrea was our guide for two walking expeditions: around Buda and Pest; and for the two-hour 'history of communism' tour. On both occasions, she led us through the tree-lined streets of Budapest, told us of its checkered history, and helped us appreciate its rich linguistic culture. She was a minefield of information, and was most patient when we had (a... More

An interesting look at the alternative history of Budapest, the guide is very involved and in character the whole time, so much so that I wasn't sure how much of her creepy antics was real and how much was just acting. You'll get a good walk , hear some creepy tales, get a few laughs and have an enjoyable evening... More

Our guide was Julia - she told us a lot of interesting, funny and unexpected things about Pest and Buda, tought us to tell some hungarian words, told us a lot of facts from the history and was able to answer all our questions! I am excited!
