We were in Budapest for only a weekend and wanted to see and learn as much as we could during that time. We went on the Pest+Basic Buda Tour and our guide, Adam, was awesome. He went above and beyond any tour guide I have ever met. He was so enthusiastic, funny, personable, and passionate about his city! It was... More

Enjoyed a nice afternoon tour with Andrea as guide. She told us lots about the complicated past with communism, Cold War, dividence etc. However, I do believe one should do the morning tour as well, since the 14.30 tour doesn't cover many sights. Or... maybe the problem lies in the fact that Budapest has too much to offer!

The morning tour (10.30) is both in Pest and in Buda, while the afternoon tour (14.30), as you have suggested, is only in Pest and is more focused on the recent history of the city and of Hungary! So... we you hope you will come again in Budapest and join our morning tour! :) More

Although a new adventure for the company, the evening walking ghost tour which I joined in is well worth the experience. Had a fab time, interesting spooky facts, sights of the city under street lights, visiting the back streets of old buildings & cobbled streets. Great night of humour & scary moments all round & very friendly staff! Would recommend... More

I did free walking tours in several cities, but have quite a mixed feeling about the Pest tour. We arrived on a rainy Sunday afternoon and the group was very small. The guide was friendly and showed us around interesting places in Pest. However we found the explanation of history strongly biased. The Hungarians were basically described as permanent victims of... Dear Visitor, Yes, we do agree that it is the job of tour guides to show history from as many angles as possible, in an informative and engaging way. As we all know, when talking about virtually contemporary events, it is unavoidable to be passionate about what had happened, our team members all share this characteristic as Hungarian nationals who... We did the tours as well. In the morning with talkative bike-Adam and in the afternoon with Ursi. That was one day full of walking. Important sights were explained, a lot of questions answered (but don't believe all of Adam's stories) and the history explained in the important context. I liked most about the tours that after this day, we... More

On a recent weekend visit to Budapest Adam was our tour guide for two mornings, one exploring the Buda side of the city the other on the Pest side. He gave us a great understanding of the city, its history and its arts. Adam has a tremendous knowledge of his city and can easily adapt his tours to include your... More

We took two of the tours offered. The first, The Complete Pest tour, was a fascinating look at religion, the city, life under communist rule and history. Eva did a great job! The Orientation tour led by Vicky was nothing short of fantastic...walking from the Pest side up to the castle district was fabulous. There were three of us on... More

I completed a Buda + Pest 2.5 hour walking tour with Viki in English and really enjoyed it. It was a good mix of historical information, current affairs and personal context. The tour started from near the central metro station and ended up in the castle district, including the newly introduced changing of the guards routine. Viki was a very... More
