I think it was a great way to spend 3 hours of your day instead of sight seeing! We learned to prepare a 3 course meal and even got a chance to visit the central market. It is a actually a suitable place to know where you can eat and shop like the locals. Cecilia, our instructor, was a natural.... More

Although I often cook, I learned several new things during my Hungarian cooking lesson. The market tour was delightful and I received good information on selecting local produce, as well the best type of paprika to buy (a must in Hungarian cooking). The cooking lesson was fun and informative. I'm so glad I chose this over just purchasing a Hungarian... More

Learned to make 3-course meal that was delicious and easy with Cecilia. Will try recipes at home! Toured market and returned to shop for paprika, wine and souvenirs. Had great time.

We love to take cooking classes when we travel, it is a wonderful cultural experience, and also provides a way for us to take our trip home to family & friends. Chef Parade did not disappoint. Our guide for the day, Anita, was very knowledgeable and made us feel at home both in the market and in the kitchen. We... More

My husband and had a really enjoyable morning last friday with Anita from Chefparade. We met her at the market and bought some ingredients for our cookery lesson. It was good fun and Anita was not only a good teacher but it was really interesting to talk about Hungary. We ate our mornings work and had enough to take home... More

Our chief, i can't remember her name unfortunately, told us a lot of interesting things about hungarians, their life, gastronomic and everyday behaviors. I've been there in july 2012, but chicken paprikash is one of favorite dishes of my family and friends up to today. The same i can say about sour cherry soup.

The chocolate making course was a huge hit with the whole family. Fanni was an excellent and very patient teacher me, my husband, and our two children ages 8 and 10. We had lots of hands on experience tempering chocolate, making flavored ganaches, making the truffle shells, and most of all eating chocolate. The class included a delicious, simple lunch... More
