My wife booked this as a tour through expedia and at first I was a little hesitant. I really didn't want to travel all the way to Budapest to take a cooking class. I'm glad we did though. We took a taxi from our hotel to the address listed on google. When we showed up, the owner didn't seem as... More

I had a very good experience at the Chefparade Cooking School. I was visiting Budapest on my own for the weekend. I like to get the most out of my experience...joining in on a local cooking school definitely helped to do that. I booked the cooking class just a few days before I was scheduled to arrive in Budapest. I... More

I signed up for cooking class to learn more about how my grandmother makes her AMAZING Hungarian dishes. I was slightly swayed by the cost because I was travelling for 3 months and had to keep a budget. I am so glad I splurged because it truly was the highlight of my time in Hungary. Nori, the instructor was young,... More

We booked Chefparade and could not have been happier. We learned how to cook traditional Hungarian dishes in a relaxed and festive atmosphere. And our creations were delicious! Our instructor, Nora, was top-flight. Definitely recommend the pre-cooking Great Market visit which was very informative. And then off to a fully-equipped professional kitchen where we made things "just like grandma". When... More

Four of us, two couples, spent most of a day with the school. Our tutor took us around the food market and taught us a lot about local customs, history and food culture. She was engaging and fun, and this carried on into the cooking class which followed the tour. The facilities at the school were excellent, with everything laid... More

We met our chef outside the Market hall of the Main Market near Petofi bridge for a guided tour round this fascinating place full of its own history and now containing both food and material goods-there was a preponderance of paprika in its various forms in both sections with beautiful stitched goods as well as vegetables and fish stuffed(literally) into... I was there with another couple for the cooking class at Chefparade. This was the best highlight and a great start for my visit to this beautiful country. Lilla was very helpful to arrange a class for me, and was very flexible to accommodate me while I was there. I took the package include the market tour. I was at... More

I had such a wonderful time learning to cook goulash and chicken paprikas. The staff was really knowledgable and informative about the Hungarian culture and food. It was like cooking with a friend! I would highly recommend this as part of your Budapest vacation! More

My husband and I spent 4 hours at the Chefparade Cooking School, part of the package was to be picked up from our hotel by taxi to meet Lilla at the large fresh food markets( which is fantastic in it self) firstly Lilla introduced us to a typical Hungarian breakfast, very nice. We had a tour around the market then... More
