My wife and I were in Budapest for just a day so decided to start our touring by doing a free walking tour. We have done a lot of walking tours over the years and this one was right up near the top in terms of the amount of the city we saw, the information we got and the fun... More

Have done many free walking tours and this one didn't disappoint. The large group was efficiently split into smaller ones which all took a different route so we were not bothered by overlapping explanations. Accents are a little on the heavy side, but hey, there's no way I could do any kind of tour in a foreign language so bravo! More

A great way to get an overview of the city from a local. Good insight into the history of Budapest and as mentioned in previous posts, some very helpful tips on where to go/what not to see, how not to get ripped off by taxi's, etc. Only did the general tour, but would have liked to do the others as... Did the general walking tour with André/Endré/Andrew, who was a good, friendly guide. Nice to get a sort of general overview of the city, particularly (of course) going across Chain Bridge and up Castle Hill. The tour felt slightly long for the amount which we saw - considering how big Budapest is, I suppose that's inevitable - but you can't... More

I have paid for walking tours in the past but this free tour was one of the best. Emma was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Budapest it made it really enjoyable. She also offered tips and advice about our stay in the city which we found very helpful. Emma directed us to a typical hungarian restaurant for lunch after the... More

We did all three tours i.e. General, Communist and Jewish. The guides were highly knowledgeable and passionate. They shared personal experiences and recommendations. While in Bucharest, we tried out their version of free walking tour and the Budapest one trumps them. If you have only two days in Budapest, the General tour is a must because, you'll get an excellent... More

Hello Diadiva, It is a great pleasure to read your enthusiastic review about our free tour. Our guides are working on making the tours personal in a way that gives one the feeling that they are old friends. Your feedback strenghtens their way of guiding.
