It is said that this bridge is in imitation of the ones in Venice as it crosses the Kanal. I disagree. The architect Plecnik added two arched bridges on the sides of the original bridge to alleviate traffic. Down the steps from the bridge are clean public restrooms so it becomes a very popular place.

Beautiful bridge in the old town. Makes for great photo opps. Also you can use it to cross the river (apparently I need to write at least 100 words about a bridge in order for it to qualify as a review). I used the bridge to cross the river several times. It was very stable. and beautiful.

This is the center of the old town with many markets and shops and churches. From here you can enter the warren of narrow streets to shop or eat or head up to the castle (my recommendation).

Its 3 bridges next to each other, you can spend 3 minutes walking over them, or a bit longer taking photos etc. Toilets under them in case you need to get rid of some pivo. There are usually buskers there which makes for an entertaining place to be.

Connecting the new with the old town the Tromostovje is a natural beginning of every trip around Ljubljana. I will not say to you to go to see the place, because it is inevitable for every visitor of the city. Especially the during the sunny days the Three bridges offer a beautiful view of the city centre. It has a unusual history and whilst it sounds silly idea to have 3 side-by-side bridges the logic behind it is sound once understood. But not that attractive to be honest.

Its just 3 small bridges together. I had expected something a bit more grand than this. Lots of nice bars and shops nearby though

The triple bridge is the focus of the city and a pleasant place to watch the world go by. If you want to take pictures then an early morning visit is worth the effort.
