Slovenia is a small country, why compare a fountain with italian fountains? Here the quality is in detail and not size. I often walk around it and the three fish under the statues always amaze me. It's also kept clean and there's less people here. The occasional violinist in the evening is a big plus too. It's a well-made fountain,... More

Okay to pass by and look but not that stunning. The maintenance work is complete so a clear view can be had.

You can't miss it, it's right outside the Town Hall. It's ok I guess, you will see it because it's in the centre. There were musicians playing a couple of times there though that made the atmosphere of the he square more pleasant.

Currently undergoing maintenance... You can see the 3 water bearers but none of them pouring water, and the obelisk up top is covered in construction materials. Otherwise makes for a great front photo opp with the yellow cathedral backdrop

The history of the fountain is... More

It's a really nice statue but there's nothing overly fancy or special about this just from looking at it. I saw it on a walking tour but I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to see this one.

Anyone ever went to Rome ? If so, you'll have a feeling of déjà vu as this fountain is inspired by the one on Piazza Navona in Rome :)
