There was a free pottery exhibition going on inside which was nice to look around, and the building itself is lovely. I would recommend popping in for 20 minutes if you are nearby!

A nicely lit town hall with pillars and events on going through the calander. Not large or fantastic but adds to the character of the town.

This rather impressive building in the main street is a former palace which was built in 1584 and now comprises the municipal offices of Ljubljana the capital of Slovenia. The interesting thing about this building and its history is the various attempts at renovations over the years which feature a mixture of both Baroque and Classic styles. The artwork and... More

A very ornate building. The clock tower is impressive, but make sure you view from the side or you may miss it. You can take a tour inside too if you wish.

The main building of the old town square, the town hall looks the part and also has small but meaningful exhibits inside that are worth a look.

Upon entering there are paintings on the walls. The one that impressed me is am impressionistic painting of a symphony orchestra. Gustave Mahler led the orchestra here when he was young.

Step inside the town hall for a few minutes to appreciate the history, structure, glass covered atria and bite-sized exhibitions (at least three were ongoing when we visited). Then pop next door to Vinoteka Movia to chew it over and quaff a few wines.

This regal looking place is in the important square up the top on the hill where it never floods. Its of classic architecture from a time when important buildings were made to last.

Stop if you pass by, but don't expect anything that will make you feel like "wow!". They had a temporary exhibition that was OK and the building has and internal patio with some interesting Roman style paintings.
