The red painted exterior and the cream coloured columns provide a fine, though rather understated, backdrop to the main Preseren Square, though the trees at the front beside the steps look a bit incongruous and prevent a complete view of the church. The inside is well worth a short look for the painted ceiling and walls and the altar. Note... More

Beautiful Franciscan church with a sense of peace and rest. If you don't believe, well, it's a nice building. If you do, you will understand why this place is special.

Another very pretty church and right at Preseren Square. There's no need to miss it. There are a few truly stunning paintings.

Easily seen because of it's pink exterior .Not as ornate as the Cathedral but worth a peek inside , most visitors would not stay too long, no admission cost

There were timming to visit the church, so we had to wait to enter. The exterior was more impressive than the interior.

Very ornate, lots of lovely photo ops, sense of reverence, really a special place. The central chandelier and the organ are especially nice.

This is another beautiful church with extensive painted ceilings and walls and quite elaborate inside. Outside it is a dull orange red and much more impressive inside.

Great architecture on the outside, beautiful on the inside...although with some scaffolding at one end. I'd had this church in my mind when thinking of visiting Ljubljana, as it always appears in any search of pictures of the city, and stands out with its pink facade, in the Old Town square.
