This is a beautiful place to go to church, especially around St. Nikolas feast day and Christmas time. The music is superb and the congregation is usually full to the brim.

The most pronounced building on the Preseren Square, this colourful church is worth a look both from the outside and from the inside, especially due to its beautiful organ.

Not a large Church but the building is rather imposing in the middle of the square. Worth taking a look inside, the organ at the back of the Church at the top is lovely.

Seen only outside of this church, as in Prešeren Square. Is nice because of it's colour, and is lighted at evenings and seems more beautiful. Is the parish church of Ljubljana - Annunciation Parish. Its red colour is symbolic of the Franciscan monastic order. Since 2008, the church has been protected as a cultural monument of national significance of Slovenia.

It was Sunday so we attended mass . It was in Slovenian of course so did not follow well . It was a lovely service and we even managed to sing a bit along with the hymns because it was all up on a screen karaoke style. A lovely mass .

After the grandeur of the Cathedral of St Nicholas this was a little disappointing, particularly as there was a lot of internal scaffolding! However it is certainly worth a look and is just off the main square.

a very nice church. I felt a little uncomfortable going inside as there was a group of 8 inebriated men on the steps, but i took another set of steps and they didn't bother me. Worth a short visit.

The church is in the main square of old town and is a lovely rusty pink color. It's a good photo op, but since it was closed up tight the whole time we were there (in Ljubljana) there isn't a whole lot to say about it. I would like to have seen the inside, but that wasn't possible. It's very... More

I did not manage to go into this church as it was always closed when I was in the Piazza, but believe me, the light coral coloured walls of this church with white touchings and the stairs at the front, gives it a prominent mark. In fact its the place where I was able to meet other tourists who came... More

Every Christmas this was a place to go. The time after Christmas hundreds of people would go and admire the crib that the brethren had prepared. It's inovative and the children have a problem to go away, there are so many things to admire. The church is a place where you can hide from the busy pace of life. The... More
