A really nice area along the river with many restaurants and coffee shops. Good place for a late breakfast. Seems like the locals like this area as well.

This is a wonderful place to enjoy a sunny morning with a cup of coffee or a drink in the evening. If you want to relax and watch the river and people passing by, this is the place to be. There are a lot of different bars and coffee shops, so you can definitely find one which suits your taste.... More

This is where Ljubljana residents go for a strall through the city center, a long pedestrian zone along the river. Just sit in many cafes, watch the river, enjoy street performers, many events especialy over the summer. Visit any time of day or night, it always looks wonderful and safe, just avoid rainy days

Locals (all generations, but you will rarely see teenagers here) often come here, and if you're there... More
