Travelled solo from Tirana Albania to Slovenia on International volunteer trip just over 10 days! A shock in expence going from non-EU to EU country. The cost of living is on par with the UK therfore a little cheaper than the Republic of Ireland. Be warned of the Airport taxis very dear! 50 to 60 euro to get into Ljublana!...

Went on tour, guide was ok, not exceptional but knew his work.
Bled is beautiful. Dont miss it, and also the Bohinj lake area.
You can also go by bus, but you wont get to see as much if youre in ahurry. Otherwise i would go for a few days
Bottom line .. not too bad
