Amazing nature with turquoise streams. Along the stream there's a walking trail that leads to the waterfalls. It is not far from lake Bled and it is a must see.

If you are near lake bled, this is a must see!! Easy access, easy walk up to the falls! Worth it all day! And of you enjoyed this, also consider the bojinski gorge. A bit thougher hike but still not to hard and a really beautiful place!

The nature is beautiful and the walk is good and very safe. If it gets crowded it is hard to go on sometimes. You do not need to hurry though. We needed to finish in 1,5 hour and it was a little fast.

We were lucky to visit it after 2 days of raining. As November is a low season on Bled we met only 10-15 people on the way. Be ready for walk and to be wet but its totally worth. If you want to get the right feeling of what Vintgar is- look at the photos from November.

We walked from the Park hotel there and back, the countryside was beautiful. The gorge was stunning, I took a fantastic picture of the gorge and had it painted in oil. Lovely place.

Lovely walk down the gorge spotting the trout. An easy cycle from Bled. The small charge is worth it. You can also visit the restaurant at the start of the gorge for freshly caught fish after - yum!

We visited the place on Nov 1st, 2014. We visited Lake Bled in the morning and walked to Vintgar (3-4 km) fron there. One can walk to gorge from Podhom or Vintgar Stations which are on the route connecting Bled Jazeero to Jesenice. Entry ticket is for 4 € and a student discount also exists. We entered there by 4:30... More

This gorge is magical. It's like being in another unspoilt world... Just like the wonderful country Slovenia. The paths are easy to negotiate and anyone can easily enjoy this walk, young or old. It takes around an hr or so one way but a less on your return journey as you won't spend so much time saying "wow!! How beautiful..."... More
