A short walk into the most amazing gorge. The force of the water through narrow passage ways was exhilarating to see. I would love to return and highly recommend it as a top destination visit when travelling to Bled Slovenia

I went solo, and the walk was beautiful although short and very easy. Good for families I believe, but solo I would look onto something a bit harder although the views in the gorge are splendid. There is an entrance fee.

If you're visiting Slovenia you have to go here! Absolutely beautiful, you walk along a wooden pathway along side the river, (which is wet but not slippy so i would suggest wearing good shoes - saw a guy in flip flops would not recommend!) it's a relaxed easy walk, ending with a waterfall, it was a really sunny day so... This was one of the places we saw, by recommendation from a girl who works in one of the shops in Bled. A fantastic trip for us a little bit older. Nothing to worry about, that a lot of young people walked past us. At least they had some manners and greeted us very nicely.

This was my favorite thing we did in Slovenia. Lake bled is picturesque but the town is much too touristy. The gorges however are still very secluded and the natural beauty is breathtaking. You walk along these wooden Bridges that hug the sides of the gorges. Feels like something out of LOTR or Robin Hood. Definitely go after 4pm when... More

Really fantastic! Each part of the gorge is different, you will see steep rocks overlooking a narrow canyon, wider places with trees and bushes, waterfall, dam etc. It does not require a lot of effort to spot trouts in the river below. Cool! From practical perspective: the canyon has 2 entrances, so if you park on one end, be prepared... More

The water is really pretty and you can spot trout. The walk itself is flat and could easily be completed in an hour. Take an unbrella as the rocks along the side of the gorge are drippy.

We decided to walk to Vintgar from Bled. The walk is well signposted and took us around 45 mins to arrive at Vintgar Gorge. We arrived at the same time as a few coach trips so the place was quite busy to start with but quietened off after an hour or so. The walk ways round the gorge are tight... More

A mixture of lakes and waterfalls. Heaven on earth. A walk side by the river. Makes your holiday worthwhile.

This is a beautiful walk, and is not very strenuous.. Try to go very early or very late to avoid the tourist buses.
