We stayed in a rental apartment close to Vintgar Gorge, but it is worth the visit anyway. It is a place of great beauty and offers good physical exercise too. Near Bled lake there is a place where the waters are so clean and everything is very beautiful. We discover the place due to turanus. The driver suggested us to see this gorge when we visited the lake. Vintgar gorge and Tolmin are, in my opinion the most beautiful gorges in Slovenia. The landscapes take your breath away. More

I recommend to visit in summer, to get away from hot weather. Canyon is not as big as Grand Canyon, but it's nice nevertheless. More
