We decided to walk up to the castle on the road wich is usually used by cars It's an easy walk. We were with two kids and the climbing seemed scary. The castle itself not so impressiv, but the view is amazing. Some people said the climbing was much more interesting than the castle

The trek up to the castle is very steep and not for those out of shape but the view from the top is well worth it. The castle itself is more about selling things in the shops. The museum has copies of documents instead of actual museum quality items.. Definitely not worth the 9 euros admission

Beautiful setting looking down upon Lake Bled. Enjoyed the climb and the views. I enjoyed seeing how coins were minted by hand by staff. Loved the gelato served in the castle cafe with amazing lake views!

We went to Bled the weekend of the National Championship boat races. Beautiful and sunny weather. Loved the views of the races, Lake Bled and Bled Island. Slovenia is a beautiful country!

Looking up to the stairs to the castle I though "OMG" but the view made me forget the effort. The castle is very well maintained, they still have a printer like in the old times where the art of printing paper was discovered and they can demonstrate it to you and make a print with your name and the seal... The castle is located on top of the hills above the town of Bled. It is relatively small and can be visited for only 10-15 minutes. It's challenging to get to him with steep stairs. Entrance is charged € 9 for adults, children under 7 years do not pay ulaz.U the castle is a small museum, the old printing press... More

Though this castle is overpriced, you will regret not going inside and getting the truly astounding views of Lake Bled and the surrounding area. The castle is built into the cliff side and really gives you some feelings of vertigo, if you're into that. The exhibits are somewhat interesting and offer a decent history of the area, but the purpose... More

The castle is very impressive from a distance. Once in the castle, however, there is not that much to see. On a clear day (it was raining when we were there) the view of the Lake and the island are worth it, but otherwise it was not particularly noteworthy.

This castle with a nice outlook is small in scale by British standard and ordinary by continetal Euroepan standard. The interior parts of it are not a surprise, and its most attractive part is the magnificent broad view of Lake Bled and Island of Bled you can enjoy from a good alttitude with the mountains around as a green contrasting... We had some foreign guests and had free afternoon. We decided to show them one of the diamonds of Slovenia - lake Bled. We went around the lake, they took some nice photos of the island and then we continue to the castle. This was my first visit of the castle. We decided to go to the wine cellar. It is... More
