This castle with a nice outlook is small in scale by British standard and ordinary by continetal Euroepan standard. The interior parts of it are not a surprise, and its most attractive part is the magnificent broad view of Lake Bled and Island of Bled you can enjoy from a good alttitude with the mountains around as a green contrasting... We had some foreign guests and had free afternoon. We decided to show them one of the diamonds of Slovenia - lake Bled. We went around the lake, they took some nice photos of the island and then we continue to the castle. This was my first visit of the castle. We decided to go to the wine cellar. It is... More

Good castle with great views over the Bled area, definitely worth the walk up. The Bled cake at the top is a bit pricier than elsewhere though

the castle offers one of the best views i've ever seen. it costs 9 euros to get in. the coffee/restaurant was closed for renovation. there is a tiny chapel and a small poor museum. but the view is really worth the price.

I have to say, the only thing the castle has to offer is the best view in the world. All other things are negative. Even though, if you would like just to drink a cup of coffee in the restaurant you have to pay an entrance fee (8€) to the most annoyed lady in the reception. We had a feeling... More

The castle is a remarkable landmark but I didn't find it worth the visit once inside. We wanted to go into the restaurant to enjoy the traditional dessert (only truly found in two locations in Bled)... But we had to pay the castle entrance fee just to go to the restaurant. That forced us to wander around the castle grounds... More

The Bled castle is one of the best castle tours I have ever been on. I've seen many a German castle and Indian palace. Most of the interior of the castle is a museum describing the history of the Bled area, including the geology, history, and industry. It is very well done and we spent a much longer time than... Worth a visit if you are in the area. Picturesque castle with nice views over Lake Bled. Rooms are fairly bare but they have tried hard to make it interesting.

Very pretty views from the top. The castle is nothing special but gives an interesting view of the history of Lake Bled and has a cute museum with a few artifacts of note. Worth doing.
