Very pretty views from the top. The castle is nothing special but gives an interesting view of the history of Lake Bled and has a cute museum with a few artifacts of note. Worth doing.

The castle is well worth a visit if only to see the beautiful chapel, but the views of Lake Bled steal the show, particularly if you are lucky enough to have sunshine.

Beautiful view from the terrace and castle windows to the lake and to the Alps. The castle and the museum inside are very interesting.

It is easy to reach this castle by auto or tour van. the walk from the parking lot is easy by normal standards. The castle showcases a lot of history regarding the 1000 years of development of ownership and settlement of the area. It is not a castle as you might think with rooms showcasing past owners belongings etc. I... More

Inside the castle is an outstanding view, small museum about Bled's history some souvenir shops and restaurant. Entrance fee is very high 10 € for adult. In my opinion this is too much.

Although the castle itself isn't that spectacular, if you don't go for the view itself you're a fool. Has to be one of the best views going round! We had a clear day, and could see the snow capped mountains clearly. The castle contains a little bit of the history of how it came to bed, and there is a... More

We visited Bled Castle as part of the Back-Roads Touring Co “Flavours of Northern Croatia & Slovenia” tour. It’s a beautiful old castle towering over Lake Bled with sweeping views over the lake, the island and the surrounding countryside. You can bottle your own wine in the wine cellar (which we did) and the wine is quite drinkable. There is a... More

Everything in this castle is well designed starting from the ethnological geological museum up to the souvenir shop and the restaurant. Stunning view over the lake and the island. Nice to be reached running.
