I couldn't believe my eyes! I was amazed but the beautiful colors of water and trees. The weather was just great! I would love to go back. I don't understand why people appreciate more countries than this beautiful pearl. I recommend you to take the boat tour. It's worth it.

This lake truly is one of the most gorgeous lakes Europe has to offer. A place for great hikes, warm weather, swimming, extreme sports, relaxation, great food and vice verca. Only downside is the amount of turists - but no wonder. - If you are in great shape, find a spot from where the island in the middle is not... More

We were surprised by this beautiful lake. The view was pretty great during the day. We enjoyed a nice walk around it. But what really striked us, was the view at sunset. Absolutely amazing!

Bled lake is close to Ljubljana as well as to the airport, 20 min drive from each. It has numerous hotels, spas, restaurants, casino, 2 golf courses - anyone can find something to like here. If you have time and will - do not miss to go a full circle around the lake - it is about 8kmlong walk and... More

The lake is very nice, on the fortress/castle you can enjoy the stuning view, have a drink or even lunch, and a quick tour in a small museum. There's also free wifi. The fortress is popular for wedding parties, one was going on when we came there. Staff met them dressed in old dresses and uniforms of that time and... More

In mid winter is is a quiet, peaceful place to walk and take in the scenery. I suspect "quiet" and "peaceful" do not app!y in high season but it would still be scenic with easy walking g.

A few days in January. Peace and quiet (very quiet!) Christmas and New Year celebrations just ended last week. Lovely time to visit, clear crisp and cold. Gorge walks not available at this time of year but would still prefer winter to summer. Bled is quite small in population terms, 6,000 roughly according to tourist office, but this swells to... This is a gorgeous lake with perfect views at every turn. It is possible to walk right around it in about 2 and a half hours but there are lots of places to stop and have a drink along the way. Take a few minutes to walk in the grounds of Titos summer palace, it is now a hotel, but... More

Lake Bled in Slovenia is just gorgeous. We stayed at the Premier Hotel Lovec in the heart of Bled and within easy walking distance of Lake Bled and several excellent restaurants. The hotel has a spa, sauna and hot tub plus bar and restaurant attached in addition to the hotels's own breakfast/dinner room. The food in the hotel is excellent... More
