Lake Bled is an excellent place to visit. Very scenic, beautiful and lovely. We were there for three night. One can stay for a week and I am sure it will not be enough to enjoy the beauty of the place. Julian Alps surrounding the lake makes it even more beautiful. Walk around the lake is a must. Boat ride... More

Stunning place, lots to see, lots to walk around (you can climb up the Ojstrica hill and have great view for the whole Bled lake!), lots places to just sit and feed the ducks, swans, etc... Also rent a boat and row into the lake... Romantic...

I visited Lake Bled in late March so it was not swimming weather but rowing a boat and walking around the entire lake are nice actives for spring weather. Also, climbing to see the fortress view is great too. Making Bked the base also allows one to see the neighboring lake about 30 minutes away by bus with ample hiking... More

We walked all the way along th lake, stopping to enjoy the views from various points. There's lots to see, so just take your time, and enjoy the walk. Takes a couple of hours.

Stunning Lake. Take a rowing boat out onto the Lake, or hop on one of the many boats. The church on the island has a wishing clock.

Love the lake, the island, the chapel and the castle - what a special place! You must go out to the island (we rowed ourselves for just 10 euro) to see the chapel up close.

We loved the area and rented a boat to row to the island. There are many spots to enjoy the lake and relax. The water is clean and wasn't too cold for May. We would definitely return!

This was my second time at Lake Bled and it was just as beautiful as the first!! We stayed in the little town Mlino both times in an apartment, which is a short walk to the main town. I recommend having a car if possible to explore the area around the lake. May is kind of a rainy time to... More

Slovenia is a gorgeous country and Lake Bled is a treat. Gorgeous scenery and not to be missed. You will be rowed from the mainland beside one of Tito's gorgeous palaces - now a hotel - to the island in the middle of the lake. After climbing the many steps to the top of the hill you are treated to... More
