Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful. The lake, with the castle in top of the rock, the church close to the shore and the little island makes it a unique place. Do not miss a walk around it.

Absolutely gorgeous here and the total lake can be walked around in an hour or so. There is art to be discovered around the lake and cafes to sit at for coffee and cake and overall relaxation. A must see!

Can get busy in the summer and when I stayed there were groups of noisy English students which slightly spoilt the ambiance. However get up early and walk round the lake or take a row boat out to the island and it's well worth it. View from and to the castle are very picturesque. If you are going to row... More

Lake Bled really is one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited. We stayed at Hotels Trst and Jadran (reviews elsewhere), and although they weren't top-notch, everything was down to the natural beauty of this place. Despite its obvious popularity (with car number plates from literally every country in Europe), it never felt overcrowded, even at the weekend during... More

Small town around Lake Bled is nice to walk around, row the boat, have a coffee in the lakeside. Many tourists.

We walked around the lake and enjoyed some traditional Slovenian desserts all in under 2 hours. It was one of my favorite parts of a long European tour through Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro. Please make time for this stop. You won't regret it.

Beautiful area with Fairytale castle and Island in the middle of the lake with excellent walks and views from any angle. Suits outdoors people and was a good part of a twin centre holiday with Ljubljana to get the best of both worlds.

This spot is a must visit if you find yourself in this regoin of Slovenia. It is very peaceful even when I visited during peak tourism season. Taking a short boat ride to see more of the lake is worth the while. The water is crystal aqua green clear.
