We are just back from our first ski holiday in Kranjska Gora and found this little town to be very beautiful with lovely views of the Julian Alps. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We were lucky to have ski lessons as a small group of six people and we found our instructor Annie to be excellent. She was very... More

Apart from the stunning scenery, Kranjska gora has optimal facilities for skiing and more. Unlike other skiing resorts, it offers other activities such as snow biking, sledging and a small children's amusement park all close to each other. I will go again, next time in summer for hiking and climbing!

Kranjska Gora is a perfect place to base a mountain trekking holiday. The main attractions, the peaks of the Julian Alps, are perfect. Not almost perfect or nearly perfect, but actually perfect. The trekking is beautiful and varied in the finest alpine tradition, but the crowds and prices of Switzerland, Italy, France are nowhere to be found. People are friendly... More

We choose Kranjska Gora to be a centre for a walking holiday and it was the correct choice. The village itself was spotless and like the rest of Slovenia it was litter free. Lots of small bars and cafes to choose from, with good food and friendly locals but we came for the walking and being in a valley with... More

Kranjska Gora is small town on the north – west part of Slovenia. It is just few kilometres from Italian (Tarvisio) and Austrian (Vilach) border – three country border. It has long turistical tradition in winter as well as summer sports. Nice alpine ski pists, cross country skiing paths are suitable for all, children, families and recreative sportsman too. You... Have arrived at the lovely resort of kranjska gora Slovenia. We booked this resort as a reasonable price for skiing and child care.... We have a 5 year old so booked all the equipment and ski school and as under 6's don't require ski lift pass it was a good price. We have now been informed that the 5 year... More

We stayed in KG for a week in late October/ November. We stayed in a friends apartment and were really impressed with the views, walks, cleanliness, easy transport links and good value. We had many sunny days and on the day when it rained in KG we drive down to Ljubljana for a mooch. This is worth doing, as is... More
