The monument is fine, but nothing special. However, on sundays in summer time there are concerts here at 12 and 16. Free admission. And you are now in the Lazienka park, so use the opportunity to walk around and see it. A nice way to spend eg a Sunday afternoon. Cafe and restaurant in the park.

If you are planning to go, make sure you have plenty of time. There are plenty of opportunities to listen to great music so rushing through it make no sense. Poles are very proud of Chopin and it shows. This place was designed with a lot of care and attention. Nice kids room, if visiting with little ones.

Set in the main park, overlooking a large pond the statue is very impressive and worth a visit - can also enjoy the park.

The monument is located in a large park that draws many visitors. We visited in March on a Saturday which was cold and gray, yet there were many tourists out to see the monument.

This is obviously a monument that means a lot to poles but on a clod wet day it loses some of its lustre but in the summer they have chopin concerts around the lake and its supposed to magical so with rest of the park.
