Do you want to know how to build a people? How to build a nation? This is the place you must know. It is simply fantastic. All Jewish museums I have been show destruction and death but this one is really different. This museum shows life, and what the determination and endurance of a people can do! Do not miss... More

Fantastic museum, which is both well thought out, and tells the story of the Jews in Poland in an interactive and logical way. The Holocaust is obviously part of this history, but is only forms part of the story, albeit an extremely important part, and museum very much celebrates the contribution of Jewish life to the history of Poland. This... More

Visually striking architecture. Exhibition divided into several areas covering the entire history of Polish Jews. The displays are beautiful, particularly the restored wooden synagogue. Lots of interactive things for kids (and adults.) If you aren't familiar with general Polish history, some of the context might be lost, but worth the visit anyway.

The architecture of the building is really awesome. The visit - it is worth renting an audioguide, very informative and not expensive - takes 2hrs for the permanent exhibition about the history of Polish Jews. This is in fact not a traditional museum but an interactive tour through History. Fantastic exhibition, very well presented and explained, supported by a captivating... More

I personally go to a museum to get close to the history and culture through visual and art effects. This place, despite the beautiful architecture and structure, lacks content!!! There is a bunch of scripts and pictures from history books. That's it!!! I am sorry but I think having a Jewish Museum in Warsaw, to me is more of a... More

This is a must place to go in Warsaw! The history of Jews in Poland - from the very beginning - presented in excellent way, interesting for adults and children. You can take a train ticket from XIX century, you can have a coin done by yourself. The holocaust part - piercing. Polish - Jewish difficult issues - openly presented.... More

This is one of the most interesting museums about the Jews and their plight. Not only does it tell us about the Jewish people during the wars but also their origins and how they came to live in Poland. The museum has beautiful exhibitions and interesting hands on experiences.

The building itself is very special with its cubistic exterior and extraordinary interior design. Newly opened, it had a lot of visitors when we were there around Christmas. Still the crowd was manageable. Be prepared for a long walk with a visual and hands-on exhibition. For me as a Norwegian, I found the history of the Polish jews around WWii... More

We went there to explore the building. Which is amazing - from inside out, its really impressive structure. We also went for the temporary exhibition of how the museum idea has been invented including models of architectural proposals - it was very interesting. The local exhibition is huge! It takes three floors and one hour only allotted for the visit... More

Beautiful building, interesting exhibition, plenty of audio-visual elements but reserve several hours to visit - this place is huge! You need lots of time to digest enormous amounts of information you're being served. If you're not familiar with the topic, you might consider taking a guided tour. If you're interested in a specific historical period (e.g. XIX century), go straight... More
