This long road is filled with churches, palaces, galleries and statues and should be walked both during daytime but also in the evening, where the lights add so much atmosphere to this lovely road in gloomy Warsaw.

We always make a point of walking down the Royal Route and pass the many churches, places of learning, presidents residence to end up at the castle square some great architecture, coffe shops speciality shops etc. Christmas is great with the variety and types of decorations and especially good after dark.
