I was surprised how lively Warsaw is. Seems like no recession here. Nice to walk around, lots of outdoor restaurants, good food and wine, amber souvenirs.

This is a touristic but nice part of Warzaw. Plenty of places to take a beer or eat something local/international. Other parts of Warsaw is not so beautiful so this place is nice and well kept. I guess you should be aware of pick pockets but otherwise it feels safe.

Visiting in nice weather meant lots of people wandering the streets and enjoying the outdoor restaurants, and overall a pleasant environment with many...

You would not have any idea that this was only recently - comparatively speaking arisen from the ashes and rubble - it is a sight to behold and well worth the journey from the UK

This is not to be missed, you cannot get your head around that this city has been completed rebuilt, you would never know.
