Both the garden and palace entrance tickets are free on Thursday's. This was a summer house for polish royalty used for getting out of town during the stinky summers of yore. I was impressed with the richness of decor, art objects, immensity of the palace. No wonder it is called small Versailles. You can get there easily with bus 180 that can also take you to old town.

Varsovia is a nice city. In 1944 was totally destroyed in WWII but thanks to superb effort of polish people now seems that no bomb was thrown to the city. Things to see. culture palace a skyscraper built during Soviet ocupation, Stare Miasto (old town), marie curie home, Royal Castele, University, Many churches, Memorial about guetto and war,...

This Palace is worth the visit and the tour - although the gardens are incredible just to walk around. It is easy to spend the better part of a day here. There were 2 disappointments - these were the only dirty bathrooms we experienced in Poland and the staff seemed painted to smile or be civil.

Visited here as part of a tour and wished we had more time. Very nice gardens, but the interior rooms were the star. The rooms are furnished as they were during its use and there are interesting stories about each room. If visiting without a group, you can get an audioguide and note that individual visits are free on Thursday.... More

Picture perfect.. The castle is pretty as well as the gardens. Its like a little Versailles of Poland. Its a bit boring inside with all the artworks and collections. The only thing i like is the sculptures and the ceilings. 20zl for entrance to the palace and 5zl to the park. There is a coffee shop near the palace so... More
