Unlike most palaces, that are huge, this is a charming, small and intimate palace set on a picturesque islet. Rooms are ornate, chandeliers, marble fireplaces, beautiful oil paintings and statues. The dining room is small, by palace standards, and one can almost hear the clink of dishes and conversation. Which you can, if you get the audio. The audio portion... More

Really enjoyed the audio guide, which can also take you to the amphitheater and a couple other places just outside the castle grounds (costs a bit extra). Very nice views both inside and outside...highly recommend this as a Warsaw destination, especially if you are already in Lazienki Park.

What a magnificent place. The gardens extend seemingly forever, while discovering classical temples, pavillions, fountains, statues, and it's free. For a hay fever sufferer, I didn't sneeze once. The botanical gardens do cost, but again, well worth it.

The whole park around the Palace is worth a visit from the statue of Chopin where piano concerts are staged to walking in the beutiful park itself complete with red squirels. The Palace on the Water to use another name for it, is the highlight of several buildings in the park worth visiting. There is also a open air theatre... More

So glad this place exists. I feel like the perception many travelers have is that Poland is this grey and boring mass but Łazienki Palac is truly something to see, enjoy and walk through at least once in your life. It accommodate every mood, from lovers in the park to quiet contemplation. I can't believe i'm reviewing a park, but... More
