The church it self is very beautiful and typical european catclic church. But at the time we visited it there was a sound check for same night rock concert. And when we left there was a huge demostration against homos and abortion outside of the church. All felt quite odd.

Incidently visited this church. Surprised how many people visited this church for prayer. Beautifully decorated and certainly worth to visit.

We have seen this at night and during the day. It is striking. We were lucky enough to go in during a mass it it is a wonderful sight. Being a good Irish catholic married to a good Polish catholic, it was a high point for us.

St. Anne's Church has a long history. My unforgettable memories are from the times the Polish Pope John Paul II blessed not only students who favor this church but crowds of Poles and others in the 1980s, blessed the crosses we brought later then. The church is great to stop by any time to pray and admire sacral art, and... More

You're going to see many more beautiful churches in Poland, although this one is by no means a waste of time, but none of the others will contain the heart of Chopin.. Then you need to go to see his sculpture in the nearby park.

Unfortunately we didn't get to go in to the church but went up to the viewing tower (Belfry) connected to the church. Be warned, there is no lift up to the viewing tower so be prepared for a lot of steps in a tight spiral space. Once you get there the views from up there are amazing and well worth... More

I don't know if it can be call a concert since it is only a one man playing baroque music. There are twice a day on at 12 pm and the other at 5 pm. We are so glad we made it. We've visited so many churches in the entire Europe and this is the first we actually sit down... More

very beautiful facade - I took a peek whilst a mass was in session. I set my camera on discreet mode and managed a couple of quick shots but had to leave right away as I started sneezing. It was most embarrassing. At the door - a gypsy girl chased after me and very aggressively demanded for spare change.
