This beautiful church dates back to the mid 1500's. While it is beautiful on the outside with a Neo-Classical façade, it is absolutely stunning once you get inside, with beautiful decorations and statues to match. The acoustics in the church are superb and the organ sounds absolutely divine.

This historically significant church is worth a visit. Although the church is not spectacular itself, the area surrounding is one of the few with remnants of pre-WWII housing.

We do not frequent churches on our trips but we were glad that we made an exeption for St. Anne. It is very pretty and has this mistic feel in the air. Definitely worth a visit. Not suitable for visiting on Sundays as there is service for prayers frequently with a lot of people attending.

We were lucky to catch an organ recital here whilst admiring the beautiful architecture inside. Saw an altar dedicated to Fr. Popieluszko of Solidarity fame, and St. Maximillian Kolbe, a Franciscan who gave his life for another inmate in a concentration camp so that the inmate could live. Beautiful ceilings and altar.

Don't miss the organ on the inside.. Outside the church there is a small market with nice hand-crafted items. This is also real close to the Royal Castle - and don't miss out the "special" statue that hides the one King's of Warsaw's face... can you find it?

St Anne's Church is right on the Castle Square and it is always full of people. It is worth a visit because of its rich decorations. When we visited there were 4 baptisms going on and we ended up sitting in the church and following the ceremonies. Interesting.

We just missed the noon time concert here and were so disappointed because it must have been beautiful. The church itself is amazing and the organ looks incredible.

Be sure to catch the organ recital in the late afternoon. Such majesty gives one feeling of religious reverence.
