Situated right in the middle of the city and a must see when you are i Warzaw. I did not go into the Castle, but strolled around, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the sight of the buliding. There are lots of cafés were you can sit if you need a rest.

Nice and beautiful, without being really impressive. But matching well the square. You can choose to sit on a cafe and drink a beer and look from the outside (I did) or visit the castle and a guided tour is cheap, but you can also just stroll through the rooms on your own (my companion did so, and she found... This was a beautiful castle, with interesting pictures and information. My favourite room was the ballroom. Definitely worth a visit.

It is impressive how the castle was rebuilt only some fourty years ago after it had been bombed in World War II and completely destroyed. Attention to detail and perfect copies of the interior give the picture of the rich baroque and classic chambers. Plus a lesson of the Polish 18th century tragic history until it was erased from the... More

The Castle is fantastic and it is beautifully restored! Audio guide as well as exhibition flow are very well organised. For art lowers: two very famous Rembrandt's paintings are displayed here.

We'd been to the main part of the castle before, some years ago, and they're still in fantastic condition. This time we seemed to be dodging lots of school groups... My favourite part of the rooms was probably the paintings by Canaletto of the city in its heyday - beautiful. It's worth staying on to look at the rooms downstairs... More

This would be an impressive castle museum even if it had not been pulverized by the Nazis. The fact that it is a complete reconstruction makes it an impressive monument to the Polish spirit.

Extraordinary accessories and fine ambient... a jump in the past behind the Nazi destroying! Honour to characters of the rebuilding... I didn't love a little esplications of the re-building phasis (engineering, general plan, workers' names, etc...). I will retun surely!

I took a tour during the free day on Sundays. Apparantly the path to walk through is shorter on these days, but I don't know if I would pay to go in. The place is very beautiful inside. It was super cool to see how ornate all the rooms were. There is so much gold in some of the rooms,... More
