The castle is worth a look and there is also a really interesting exhibition downstairs about the rebuilding after the war and the efforts of the people to hide, protect and conserve it. My only criticism is the staff within the castle. I realise they are there to keep an eye on things but I felt really watched and even... More

It's a pretty castle and they have done a nice job replicating the original that was completely destroyed during WWII. One of the better landmarks in Warsaw.

Had a super visit here. Lot to see. Great presentation in the basement of the history of the building, one of those multi-media things. Very well done.

A wonderful place. A place of memory. And the most admirably is that the polish people succeed to rebuilt it after the bombardment from the Germans.

If you only want to see one of the castles, make sure it's this one. Beautiful palatial rooms, interesting history. Enjoyed this much more than Wilanow. Included in basic ticket was the tin-roofed palace (section at side of castle) which you should make sure you see. I think many visitors miss it but it is also well worth seeing.

You definitely must visit this place to see how polish kings lived. This building was completely destroyed in 1944 and than renewed after war. And walking inside of it I felt that it is not original. But I am not sure if I would that if I didn't know that. Still I liked it, especially short film about castle's history,... More

Once again I am amazed how Warsaw has rebuilt itself after total destruction. The castle is beautiful. There are information write ups in each room. In English. We enjoyed walking from room to room on our own. There were lots of school groups but all very well behaved. You can spend as much time as you like looking at the... More

Very beautiful. The guides were exceptional in their knowledge but got a bit bored with the history as it was difficult to remember it all. Probably too much information.
