A piece of history

Even though it´s a new castle, the newest I´ve ever visited, it´s beautiful as old ones and a really interesting piece of history from World War II

A really fine job has been done of renovating this fabulous building. It's well worth an hour or two to visit and enjoy treasures saved from the ravages of WWII and a fine example of European Royalty.

As a tourist you are almost certain to see this castle and you should take the time to visit it, if only to wonder in amazement that it actually exists! The photos of 1944 best testimony to the Polish spirit. Your tour will take between one and two hours. The audio guiide is well worth the extra charge,

Rebuilt from scratch it does make an impression. Some (but very few) original features can still be seen within the walls blown up by Nazis... I was disturbed to hear about the art looted during the war. Part of it lost forever...

It is hard to believe that these castle was completely destroyed during WWII, because nowadays it looks like an old time castle. The museum inside is important to see for those who like to know more about polish history. But there are also beautifull rooms, ornaments, decoration. It is allowed to take photos.

There's a beautiful christmas tree here in the winter. The castle is lit up with snowflakes. It's cute and there's plenty to see around here.

I love that square! I was there in January and it was snowed. Buildings around are colorful! Probably one of the prettiest main squares I've ever seen.

Very beautiful castle, definitely worth to visit if you are interested in the Polish History and art. You can spend a great afternoon seeing it. Even if you are on a budget the entrance fee is affordable.

We visited the Royal Castle on Sunday for free and we only paid about 10 euros for headphones for 4. The tour lasts about 1 hour and you have the chance to see original royal furniture, paintings, silverware, ceramics and glass. It is certainly a must during visiting Warsaw.
