It costed me 22zl to enter the museum and i was very surprised to see so many beautiful rooms and paintings. It was quite unbelievable that this castle was destroyed by nazi's and everything is rebuilt again. Go there on a Sunday if you want a free entrance :) , i enjoyed my visit.

This building is a very extravagant and lavish palace. What is more interesting is that it was totally destroyed by the nazis after the Warsaw uprising in September 1944. What you see is a complete reconstruction of the building and the individual rooms. I understand that Polish artists and craftsmen contributed their skills to reconstruct this palace from its bombed-out... More

lovely place to visit with older kids. As much as the soviets tried to undermine Poland, it is clear to see they had a beautiful tradition and kingdom. Castle is full of surprises and pieces of art. A MUST VISIT!!!

The Warsaw Royal Castle was reconstructed after it was destroyed in WWII. It has been furnished with period pieces where possible. There is an extensive art gallery, too.

The castle is much like other castles that we have seen in other countries but this one is special since it was destroyed during the war and recreated. Many items were saved and are on display now.

The history in the castle was unbelievable. To think it survived the war was amazing. Beautiful art.

located within the old square, this unusual building consisting of very many different periods of architecture is well worth a visit. At 11.15 a.m. each day a person appears from the tower , blowing on his trumpet a national tune, which remembers when the palace was bombed & the clock stopped at 11.15a.m. Take the guided tour, it is well worth... As a tribute to the spirit of Warsaw this is a splendid monument but because of its recent construction lacked soul I felt. We visited on a Sunday when entrance was free.

Visited this beautiful castle with a tour group. Well worth the time. The castle itself is beautiful and the tour guides informative and anxious to answer questions. Although damage was devastating to the castle during WWII, the renovation obviously was done with great care. Definitely try to include this wonderful center of history in your tour.

This place is amazing when you see how it has been recreated from rubble left by the Germans after WWII. A must see.....
