Good history backup!

Ancient things, tremendous pictures, old furniture, big yards, huge rooms, statues all over, coins and kings. A nice castle! Worth the visit.

There is much to see at the castle, and it helps to fill in some of the gaps on Polish history through the overview of the different kings and rulers. What is even more impressive is the fact that this (and indeed most of Warsaw) was entirely rebuilt after the Nazis blew it up. There were 2 short films which... More

A must see place especially on Sundays which are free during the summer months. Three main exhibit areas in the Castle (lower floor focuses on rebuilding of the castle, ground floor displays household goods, jewelry, furniture, art work including their Rembrandts; top floor includes the throne rooms and ante chambers, apartments with Canaletto art works and more). As with most... More

The good: Situated at the entrance to the old town of Warsaw the red brick building seems to hide its imposing and grand interior (although if you look at it’s beautiful baroque façade from the river side it gives you a slightly better glimpse of the treasures within). But once you enter the careful rebuild and luxurious decorated royal apartments... More

When Warsaw was leveled during WW2, the palace was among the first places to be hit. It has been rebuild and offers a good look into the rulers of Poland, both Royal and Elected. Free admission on Sunday

The old residence of the Polish Monarchy, this lovely building now a days its a massive display of royalty and polish history. Lots of history to be heard in this massive building so I strongly recommend you to get a tour guide or the audio guide if you can handle it (something that I hate). As everything in Poland, the... Well worth the visit to learn more of the history of Warsaw. An amazing display of paintings and stories from the past. We visited on a Sunday so the entry was free also. I would highly recommend including the cafe and if it's a nice day sitting out on the terrace...which you can see from the tour train that goes... More

A beautiful building that is in the center of Warsaw. A wonderful look at the early history of Poland. Easily accessible

It was quite an experience to have in a rainy day, but it lacked interaction. The items shown, the rooms, the decoration are quite impressive but the written information and the audio guide did not quite catch my full interest. Besides that, if you want an audio guide you must pay an extra fee, 17 Pln. Overall it was a... More
