Beautiful reconstructed building

Demolished during WWII and rebuilt - building is only about 60 years old - a credit to the builders Especially beautiful at night time as the whole building is flood lit!

The castle does not look at all, like a castle from outside. I was roaming around in the market when I saw the signage and went in to purchase a tourists ticket. Tourist ticket was free that day. Got lucky ;) There however was not much to see inside. A big gathering area in the middle of the building. It... More

This place is great to visit, lots of history in it. It had been ruined and rebuilt. The whole plaza has hundreds years of history and a lot of little vendors.

The rebuilt castle is very well worth the visit. Looking at the various artifacts and seeing what they have been through, and the journey they've taken to finally come back to their home, is incredibly interesting. It is also managed by excellent staff who were quite kind and hospitable.

Destroyed but rebuilt and lovely to walk around. Nice part of the city which is historical and a great place to be. Well worth a visit when you are in the old town.

Walking through the interiors of the Royal Castle is like a trip back to the past to the ages when we had kings in Poland. It is impressive how the castle was rebuilt only 40 years ago...

I've enjoyed the castle and the square inside. Also appreciate the fact that where some plates with historical information regarding the history of the castle. The only thing that bothered me was the guy playing some kind of tennis very close to the entrance.

The Castle is very simple. One can enjoy live music at 11:15, a trumpeter plays a tune from the window of the Clock Tower.
