I loved Castle Square, it is probably the best part of the Old Town. I went up the tower right next to it for a better view over the top, which for less than $1 it is well worth doing.

It is just a square although a lot has happened here, you are probably going to pass through here without knowing as it is the gateway to the old town. There are wonderful views of everything from every angle here. Must be a major place as a televised concert was happening on the day that I went. I think the... More

No real atmosphere to the Square. Perhaps some days they hold events? Great view from the Square to the National Football stadium over the river.

Every day full of people. You can find local people selling balloons , playing on musical instruments. You can take a ride around Old City in carriage with horses or visit Royal Castle.

Specially in summer it is a great to be. It has been nicely redone. Plenty nice and good restaurants nearby too. It is a place to visit when you are in Warszawa. I highly recommend this place.

I like Warsaw, it is not the first time I go there. The castle square is the main entrance to the old Warsaw. It is amazing to think the whole town was destroyed during the war and than rebuilt, so the old town is not so old after all.

It is lively considering the history of the Nazi's murders in the square. The place is full of families, singers, musicians and just tourists like we are.
