On a sunny Sunday in early spring, all of the world walks through Castle Square, and some great street entertainers are there to show their stuff. So much fun to people-watch, soak up the history, admire the beautiful architecture.

The castle square is always very lively with Horse and Carriage operators, balloon sellers and buskers entertaining the crowds of tourists heading for the old town square. Just beside the Castle Inn is a public toilet too...2pln but clean and convenient. Cafes with outside tables here too.

Always something going on--filming for Mam Talent commercials, protests, street performances...From Castle Square you have a great view of the sports arena, the castle, the city walls, and several historic buildings.

You can't really come to Warsaw without visiting this place. It's a kind of must see. I was told by a local all the buildings are reconstructions but as they don't try and hide that fact I thought it was a very pleasant area.

One visit is enough. Instead, walk the little streets that surround the square in all directions. You'll find great coffee shops, restaurants, pubs.

Love walking into Plac Zamkowy. In the winter the snow makes the plac peaceful, and in the summer it's brimming with life and music. The terrace nearby is a great viewing point of the plac too.

A really beautiful square with interesting shops, restaurants and bars and with some fabulous architecture. In the centre there is an outdoor ice skating ring which is very popular.

Such a beautiful, atmospheric place! Little market stalls and shops situated in one of the most character-rich places I have seen! Compare this to the rest of Warsaw and it's like it's worlds apart! Cannot be missed!

The colors of the buildings are a great sight. A very nice open space in the city and has a lot of historical value. Good to visit!
