Great choice of restaurants. Pleasant to walk. Buskers and musicians made for more entertainment. Some beggars that were hard to shake.

So much happening here - there's plenty of places to eat. The University's Central Campus is located here, so there's stuff suitable for the lower budget (yet still amazingly good quality!) up to the higher end, with everything in between. There's things happening all the time, too. Buskers, history displays. One of the must see bits of Warsaw.

One of the best streets in Warsaw, this street leads into the Old Town and really is part of the Warsaw experience. I strongly recommend doing it for the architecture and atmosphere.

Visited a few times. I walked from the old town through here to the centre of Warsaw, I would recommend doing that, if you fancy a good walk and have time as there are lots of nice things to see. It took about 45 mins at a casual pace. The street is very very picturesque before Xmas with fantastic decorations,... More

Spend Sunday morning strolling down to Aleje Ujazdowskie then pick up one of the cafes and have lunch or visit Warsaw University….

This route will take you to the famous Old Town and Castle Square, but this is about Krakowskie Przedmiescie. If the weather is great, please stroll on both sides of this route. You will have many places to sit and drink and eat and talk. This wide avenue is definitely for strolling, eating, and don't forget -- a good conversation... More

This is the entry into the Old town. You need to start your walking tour from this street as to head towards the old town. This place has some statues, old architectures, churches and govt buildings worth seeing. But hold on.. don't eat here.. till you explore the old town. Check out the church at the end of the street.

Loved walking up and down this street. Make sure you do so both in the day and the night. A lot of history, the university, churches, restaurants, bars, etc. At night most of the historic buildings along this route are lit up and make for a very scenic walk.

If you are short on time in Warsaw I recommend walking along this street. Many tourist brochures promote it as "The Royal Route" which links the Old Town in the north with Wilanow Palace 11km to the south. This is the first section of the route and is a wide promenade lined with many important tourist attractions. Starting at the... More

Filled with little cafes and restaurants, plenty of significant buildings and leading the way to the Old Town, this street is like a bridge between modernity and history. Its wide pedestrian walks, the stillness of buildings mixed with the hustle of buses and cars (which are by no means annoying but part of this street's character) gave me a wonderful... More
