This is a part of the royal route. The fine Hotel Bristol is a dominant building, and here is also the entrance to the university area as well as several fantastic buildings. And just at the end you are entering the Old Town, which is so beautifully restored after the second world war. And why not sit down on one... More

Especially in summer it is nice to sit on the terrace and watch the people walking by. It´s a big street where it is easy to walk. It´s near old town.

From the Nowy Swiat/Swietokrzyska to the Old Town - nice walk, pretty houses, churches, Warsaw University, hotel Bristol, presidential palace - many places to see. And also many restauarants. At weekends street is closed for normal traffic.

Wide comfortable walking area (if not too crowded on weekends especially at Xmas time with absolutely fantastic lighting!!!!), palaces of Polish nobility along the way housing now a.o. Warsaw University, Academy of Fine Arts, Ministries, President's Palace and public offices. Monuments of Adam Mickiewicz (Polish Romantic poet) and Copernicus (we really love monuments:), churches and intriguing representations on glass what... More

Busy place but with a local feel. A nice contrast to the historical center placed just a couple of steps away. Modern Poland I´d say. Liked it!

Old buildings, new buildings, new buildings made to look old, the presidents residence, the university. so much to see and take in along one of Warsaws most historic streets. A great way to get to the Old Town.

We stayed at the Bristol hotel which is on Krakowskie Przedmiescie. The street is lined with very nice structures/buildings and there are a lot of restaurants and plenty of coffee shops/cafes as well as souvenir shops. From here, you can start sightseeing in the Old Town.

This is one of the best areas to spend a few afternoons strolling and sightseeing, enjoying stops for coffees or beers, and just wandering around...there's a lot to see and do here with many great food options all around you.

The street is great for strolling and has lots of restaurants, bars and other places to hang out, leading from the Warsaw University to the Royal castle. Lots of statues, monuments, churches and other places to visit.
