I was really looking forward to seeing the rooftop garden. I have a feeling it was closed due to the weather (I'm not sure) The building and the surrounding garden where still very interesting hopefully I will be able to go again.

Its an excelent place to see the whole city. I've been there a couple of times and I loved it. You can take a book, sit on the greass and just rest.

We wandered down from the University bus stop. It was a little confusing but a law student directed us as she was going that way. At first glance, it is not obvious that there is a path all the way to the roof. In fact it offers a nice view of the Vistula River and interesting perspectives on the architecture.... More

I read about this library on Trip Advisor before going to Warsaw. Everything written about it is true. It is an interesting architectural building. I highly recommend you check it out. You cannot go into the actual library, but it is the physical structure that is so interesting. It was hard to find - don't give up. It is located... More

You will probably not be admitted to the library, but don't feel sorry for that, just enter the roof garden, accessible from the outside. Extra points (from me) for those that know the formulas on the wall.

Nice and quiet place if you want to enjoy some green space in Warsaw on top of a library! There are some shops on the ground floor and coffee shop if you need a beverage! You'll need to be registered as a student however if you want to access the library.

Sweet gardens atop the library. Stroll slowly and take in the garden, the many classes of kids visiting quietly and the river plus rooftops views

The creative, beautiful and environmentally sensitive architecture is something not to be missed. Visitors are not permitted in the library but walking up to and through the garden on top of the building, which also seems to have acres of glass ceiling, permits excellent view of what is inside as well as outside this building.

We were not really making use of the library as a "tourist stop." I was attending an international symposium on developmental disabilities. Of interest is the modern architecture juxtaposed with the Communist minimalist (ugly?) architecture. I so admire the Polish attitude of blaming the oppressions of the Soviet Union on the Communists, not the Russians or the atrocities of World... More
