I went on this trip with some out of town visitors and although I have lived in Warsaw for almost a decade, I learned a lot and had a great time!

Myself and two other friends booked this tour the 11.7.2014, since it seemed like an interesting introduction to the history of Warszaw. We where greeted by an incredibly knowledgeable guide, which gave us an extensive tour of Warzaw. With the transportation in place, in the form of an old communist car, the mood was most certainly set, and we got... More

Odd, while historically important places in town and the original communist bus makes it unique. The guide was enthusiastic, proficient, helpful och flexible. Even our 2 kids liked the tour. Ending of the tour at the small but interesting communist museum was great.

This city has been through alot of change but communism lasted 45 years and left its mark. Our guide, Marcin, was extremely knowledgeable about the city and it's many transformations. He was a child under communism and has his own recollections. He answered all our questions and gave us a wonderful tour of the various architectural elements that give you... More

Adam was a mind of useful information and he made it great fun too. We looked at lots of architecture and stuff left over from the war - it will make me look at the city differently from now on. The museum was great too and he gave us a complete tour there too. In the milk bar he was... More

I spent the day with tour guide Marcin. The day started with Marcin picking me up at the hotel in the greatest little communist van. As the first pickup we started talking right away about the city and the tour. After picking up 4 more guests we were off the the Jewish Ghetto. What an experience from our first stop... More

Combining fun and historical fact is not always an easy thing to do, well Adventure Warsaw has been looking for this combination and succeeded; With my boyfriend we've done the Off the Beaten Path Trip and can only recommend it -> a clever way to discover some facts/ places/ relics you could never find on your own. The whole trip... More

I really recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the history of Warsaw and experiencing communistic times. You will see non touristic Warsaw, try typical home made food in one of "the Milk bars", visit the communistic museum showing day to day life during that period.

I joined two other women on a shortened version of this tour, which did not include lunch or a visit to a communist apartment, but did include a visit to the new little museum that the tour company has just completed in their offices. They are very proud of this and it was interesting as it contained many of the... More
