The Cathedral is impressive, located on the island, but very easy to access. Public transport widely available. Not a must see, but if you have spare time, why not. Only 15 minutes walk from Old Town Square.

It was a cold evening and you could feel a bit of a Christmas spirit in the air. Tumski Island is a small thing but it's got a character and it's definitely worth exploring if you're in Poznań. Took some pretty nice photos there.

Great place to do some sightseeing, to relax and to commune with nature. The Cathedral, two great mueums and Brama Poznania- things you have to see being here.

This is a very beautiful place to walk around. The past has been well preserved here. It is close to the old city and has lots of preserved historical sites.

In addition to the beautiful cathedral and museums, this place also offers a quiet moment. The low houses and walkways make it look like a country village in the last century.

We stopped at the souvenirs shop before exploring Ostrow Tumski. We hoped for a map to follow the ten designated sites to see on the Island. There was none. So unless you have a map of your own, identifying where each landmark is, and what it looks like, you may miss a few and be disappointed.

If you visit the Tumski Island to see either the church or any of the museums, be sure to get the location-based audio guide from the Brama Poznania museum - or actually from the Lock Building. even when you walk the streets or inside the church, it will talk about the specific place you are at, and there is a... It's worth to take a trip to Tumski (Domus) islad. Not so impressive like in Wroclaw, but still it is nice to go to another side of the river and to see impresiive churches - and to look from another, historical as well, perspective into city.
