Beautiful island in the middle of the centre/old town. Great place to rest, hang out, watch the river. Everything is nearby - bars & restaurants, shops, tram/bus stops. Check the place :)

This place is magic. You can find here almost everything, beautiful buildings, amazing small river, lovely bridge. You can go there for picnic, bbq, walk, cykling or for some event. If you are a photographer, this place is also for you!

A nice place to visit or just simply to relax and let the world pass on by. There are a number of buildings which contain small museums, a small amphitheatre and grassed areas.

You can see concerts here, check out the re-done graineries, an art gallery, and museums nearby. The opera house is also right there. We've sat in Mill Island, and just relaxed on a hot day while there was a group of young bands performing. It was nice to see lots of families just walking by and pass the time. There's... More

Not true, actually, the mills no longer function in their original form, but lovely nevertheless. Mill island boasts buildings (converted old granaries, mills and houses) that house the best of Bydgoszcz museums, a very good art gallery, and have excellent views of the Farra church and the Opera House. You can eat Karkowka (pork neck) or pstrag (trout) on a... More
