This building, Wroclaw's only World Heritage site, is certainly imposing and impressive, without being particularly beautiful. It contains a fascinating exhibition about architecture in general, and in Wroclaw in particular (we were able to fing the locations of the best Art Nouveau buildings in the city from it).. The exhibition about the Centennial Hall itself was also illuminating. Just take... More

This is our first time to this place despite having visitied Wroclaw 3 times in the last 5 years. Excellent audio visuals about the building constuction and the history of the area plus loads of information on the architectural styles through the ages. My wife found the concrete structure very stark but as a structural engineer, I marvelled at the... More

Very interesting for architecture lovers. Inside, there is a great exhibition showing the history of the building (and, at the same time, the complicated history of the city and of Poland after WW2). Exhibition is interactive so should be interesting also for kids. When you visit, see also the surroundings: a fountain with music and light shows and, most of... More

The most modern piece of architecture in Western Poland. The building was a place where Hitler was meeting the nazi party members and where after WWII met independent thinkers of the world and communist party leaders. The building is located in the nice area close to the biggest park in Wroclaw and to the zoo.

The Hall itself does not seem too different from many auditoriums, until you think of the time when it was built. It's a very interesting architectural feat, and the exhibition does a great work of explaining the historical, technical and social context surrounding its lifetime. The surrounding places, all conceived to achieve an integrated effect, are very pleasant to walk... More

See this place when you visit the zoo. It is right opposite. Have a cup of coffee at restaurant and walk around the park.

If You visit Wroclaw and are interested in architecture You shoul visit the Centennial Hall. Unique concrete construction erected in the beginning of the XXth century is surrounded by a huge park with fountains, japanese garden and zoo. Good place for a lazy, sunny day to walk and relax outside. Worth a visit in the evening on week-ends for fountain... More
