The cathedral of st. John is in the Rynek square, one of the most beautiful squares I have ever seen. I loved Wraclaw. The cathedral was partially destroyed during the second world war and is now rebuilt.

The title says it all. This cathedral is simply beautiful, both from the outside and from the inside. This place is a definite must-visit when in Wroclaw!

Absolutely beautiful! Beautiful interior and surroundings, definitely worth a visit! The cathedral is an interesting mix of architectural styles, demonstrating the long history of the church.

Attended Mass at this Church whilst in Poland in May 2006. Had a tour of the area afterwards which was enlightening.

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, a Gothic church with Neo-Gothic additions, is a city landmark. The cathedral, which dates back to 1272, was almost destroyed during World War II. This house of worship is well worth visiting. While photographs were permitted, the cathedral was fairly dart and many of the pictures I took were not to my liking.... More

Medieval catedrals in Poland are different from western Europe - the red brick design makes it unique and more interesting. From all the catedrals in Wroclaw I would recommend to visit this one - the interier is somewhat nicer than in the others. Do invest 5 Zloty and visit the tower - the view is very nice and you might... More

It has really nice view on top of this place. You can see almost everyplace in Wroclaw. If I remember correctly there is one of 3 lifts in church in Poland.

Well, it is great looking from the outside - it is the core of Ostrow Tumski and it looks fantastic in the night thanks to great lights. There is not much to see inside on the other hand. Concluding, you cant miss it while travelling, but you can stay at ostrow walking around longer, than getting inside. Oh, PS, the... More

There are so many enormous and amazing pieces of architecture, churches, papestries, bishops houses and more and more churches. Fantastic. And at night it is even better as it is lit by gas light!
