I think that cathedral offers the best panorama in Wroclaw. You can get to the left tower of cathedral by lift. The entrance to the tower is in the cathedral, so be quiet when Mess is celebrated. You will see from the viewing platform Hala Stulecia, Ostrow Tumski, some other churches, Town Hall and Sky Tower. There is no glass... More

Very old building, being restored. Its worth stopping by and admiring its beauty that has survived all the wars fought in the area.

You can visit it during the day, but you also have to visit it at night, as it's architecture really stands out. It can have a "In the name of the rose" atmosphere. It did, in my case!

Really nice place to spend a few hours, nice interior and great views of the city from the tower. Good little tea shop about 100m from the cathedral towards the bridge

During daylight this cathedral is spectacular enough, but when it gets dark and the gas-lamp lighter has done his rounds, the flood-lights and spot-lights come on and illuminate a whole new dimension of awe.

The history at this cathedral was AMAZING! There are plenty of wall hangings if you poke around (in english) that give you all the details you would want. If you're a church buff this is a must see!

Was brought here on the free walking tour. We were told the history of it along with the architecture. Beautiful church and shows how powerful Catholicism was and still is in Poland. Really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it as part of your trip to Wroclaw

Across the river from the main town the cathedral with its twin towers is an impressive brick building of such a mixture of architectural styles it is hard to trace its origins. The tower gives a good view of the immediate area and some of the main town over the river. The trip up the tower went via a strange... More
