Sniezka is one of the biggest peaks to be reached in Karkonosze mountains. Clear paths lead to the top. You will meet several shelters on your way as well. Please note that with winter weather ( we faced in October ) and windy parts of path you have to be really well prepared. Close to the top you wil find... More

Sněžka is the highest mountain top in the Czech Republic. Very good access from Czech as well as from Poland. You can get up from Pec pod Snežkou by new cable or use a lot of tourist paths. Very nice view in sunny day. But weather changes in every minute. We had luck. On the top there is "Poštovna" -... More

Great walk, gentle slope and there are a few different options for how you climb the mountain. A few rest stops on the way to grab a cheeky Beetroot soup (Barszcz) and a beer. Don't have the coffee though. Beware of the cobblestones though - slippery when wet on the way down. Definitely worth it for the pictures - they... More

Nice walk with children. Great views , easy walk. If you have a day, its a great trip. You can eat in Dom Śląski near the top. Its better food then at the top. You need 2 hours to go up the short way od 4 long way.

We were amazed at the views, we took the chair lift, the ride up was awesome, the ride down was even better as got to see all the views coming down. The views from the top left me speechless, truly amazing. You go on the orange chair lift first, the cost was 12zl adults, then once at the top, turn... More

The temperature difference between peak and valley is about 10 degrees Celsius - req. warm clothes. For some the peak is hard to climb, but the effort is rewarded by the beautiful view.

Just came back from 17 days vacations in Karpacz. My resort had a great view of the Sniezka. I was planning on learning how to ski however there was absolutely no snow not even on the top of the mountain. That did not stop me from enjoying the town and area. With no snow and warmer temperatures I spent most... More

There are two ways to get to mount sniezka, either trek up or use the ski lift, both give you beautiful views, walking from karpacz is really only for the seasoned trekker, otherwise use the chair lift,be warned, you go on the ski lift on your own,you basically stand waiting for your seat to scoop you up,it is quite fast and if you struggle to... The sniezka summit is visible from anywhere in Karpacz. When my relatives asked me about the building visible at the summit, I told them That's where we'll be going, I hope! In fact I really wanted to do it but was not sure cos of the kids. We went up by cable chair and then walked it all the way... More
