Breath taking views. To much things to buy nothing to do with Zakopane. Horse rides available and of course tasty restaurant menu.

So the place is always very crowded and a lot of shoppers around. There are few nice places to eat with good food and live bands.

Three options to get there: climb, by car, by cableway. The cheapest is to climb but chose the path that suits you, the main path to climb is next to the cableway and it is most popular but marked as a bla cv k path. If you take that option take a seat in the middle in the grass and... More

It was really so great area to enjoy the day time up in the valley. Lots of activities to do and enjoy for all age groups. Restaurants, cafes, kiosks are adding large selections to dine. Great views and hiking. Dont miss it during your visit to zakopane

Took the funicular to the top and apart from the view there's nothing really to be impressed about unless you want to look at reams of Chinese made tat stalls, pose with a lamb picture stands and dogs mooching around. Spend your time visiting the mountain at Kasprowy Wierch and your money for the main market in Zakopane.

Go prepared...we left at bottom on a fab day...as we went up it started to rain! Lucky we had right gear with us! lashed from the heavens when we got there. Had to stand in shelter for an hour but it was amazing to watch the voume of the rain. Walked along top of the mountain...was like Knock in Ireland... More

We walked up and down. At the top there are many stalls of souvenirs and refreshments but it is very busy at week- end anyway with tourists. Good views over the town and to the Tatras across the valley. if you are after souvenirs the market at the bottom of the funicular is better and bigger.

You can take a funicular to the top of this not-very-high mountain and back, or better still you can walk to the top (about one hour; remember about proper shoes) Nice views of Zakopane and the mountains from the top. You can take a walk along the mountain top (easy) and get back to Zakopane on a chair-lift (does not... More
