We really enjoyed this and it was worth the money. Stunning views and ride up. I would recommend it.

We were lucky - we had a reasonably clear day - this is vital for views! We had to wait more than an hour in a long queue in the morning. Check the weather and buy tickets on-line to avoid the wait. We used the mini bus service from the main bus station to get there.

Taking funicular to Kasprowy Wierch is a must for all tourists to Zakopane, especially if you do not ski or you visit in summer. Until recently it meant standing in loooong lines to buy tickets, but now you can buy tickets also online (strongly recommended and only a little more expensive). The views up there are really stunning but only... More

We may have been lucky, but we didn't have to wait very long for a ticket. We were there in the late afternoon. The view at the top is stunning and even better if you walk a little way from the tram station.

Unbelievable views. Make sure you book your ticket online ahead of time otherwise the wait is quite lengthy apparently. We had no trouble with the electronic ticket emailed to us and were able to get right on the tram. The ride was not over-crowded. The views are out-of-this-world. Do note that there is NO PARKING near the entrance to the... More

We bought the tickets online to avoid the queues. However, our tickets were for 5pm in which there were no queues. I advise people to take a jacket with them as the temperature was 8 degeees up there. The views are simply amazing!

The view is amazing. First you have to buy the tickets, its not easy during the season. But if you will be there, it will be great expierence.

Buy your ticket online If you don't and don't want to wait in the 3 hour queue (no exaggeration) then: Arrive early and get a ticket for later on in the day. You can take a bus for 3zl one way. People with return tickets have priority for the return journey. Expect organised chaos trying to get down. Poles really... More

My friends and I arrived on a Saturday morning at around 8:40, and the queue was already very long and moving at a snail's pace. I gave up in disgust after two hours. Our friends stayed in the queue but didn't make it up to the top until 13:30. They waited four hours. Unbelievable. It may be a breathtaking view... More
