Fabulous place, very busy but has that unique atmosphere. Lots lots lots beautiful restaurants with awesome food! Lovely polish people and fantastic beer and vodka! Great night life! If you love skiing don't go to expensive Alps... Polish Tatras mountains and Zakopane town are much much better!

We've spent few days in Zakopane last summer and we had a amazing time! Krupowki street is in the heart of the city, it is surrounded by the beautiful Tatra mountains. There's a lot to do in Zakopane and Krupowki is the place to chill out in the evenings, plenty of pubs and restaurants serving very nice Polish beer and... More

There are a few dressed up Disney characters walking around and encourage you to take a picture with them, then charge you! They target families with children so just do a small detour around them!

The street is so quaint with the restaurants so well presented with timber decor in most cases. The cheeses on the street and markets are devine. I loved the whole experience and can only imagine when zakopane is very busy the buzz must be devine! !

Krupowki street is the place where all the tourists come to buy souvenirs and gifts! You can find anything here from jewellery, to mugs to sheep-skin coats and blankets. The prices for these items are cheapish (depending on what you are buying) and a lot of them are very good qualify. The restaurants however are not the best and are... More

Krupowki Street is Zakopane's main drag. Actually, it is about the only street of consequence in Zakopane. It abounds with restaurants, bars, shops, and people. I suspect that in the ski season, it would be a mob scene. In any event, if you go to Zakopane, you must walk the street.

This pedestrianised street is where it all happens. It will not be everyone's cup of tea but we liked it. Here are souvenir shops ATMs for money, restaurants and cafes and wonderful ice cream/ice cream with fruit shops.
