Never been to Benidorm or Blackpool but imagine it to be like this. You have to fight through thousands of screaming kids, drunks and cheap mass produced 'made in china' tat to actually see any views.

It is more than 1 km long street. There are a lot of restaurants and shops. And it is full of delicious smells.

Lots of people sure but it was quite nice, if you're looking different kind of stuff and more unique visit the market area. I got some metal metal moose keyring and wooden sculptures, quite unique. Otherwise it's nice, quite a Viking feel to the place.

Many shops and restaurants. There is plenty to suit every taste. The town is beautiful. Call in to Hotel Sabala for a drink on the Main Street.

Was here on a busy, very hot Summer day with wall to wall people. Some interesting stores (especially good selection of outdoor gear/clothing), but also lots of junk. Definitely did not expect this type of "experience" in what I thought would be a quaint, small-town shopping street. Closest thing was at the other end of the country at Sopot, although... More

The place in Zakopane where you can meet all people at the same time, you can eat everything (prices are highest and food is worst) and buy everything. You can also take a picture with Winnie the Pooh and other heros of the tales and movies. Adding to all of this there is loud music all around, dogs, horses, drunk... More

It's like walking through a forest, people everywhere aimlessly walking up the street , down the street , Me trying to dodge the " forest of poles " , men in suits trying to get a photo then expecting a handout . Don't waste your time. Booked a tour but they never turned up.

Main Street, that is. Crowded, noisy - fun. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. Must be very nice during Xmass.

There is a lot to see and buy in the main street of Zakopane - and there is lots of people to do it. It's a paradise for mainstream tourists who haven't got anything better to do. Like an amusement park, it divides the spectators - some love it, some hate it. Your choice...!?

Perfect to me... brings me memories from my first visit here back in the 80's when I've been a child; Still have my fist baby-doll with orange hair and deep green eyes! :) Lovely memories in an abundant rain... Never had the chance to experience rain again here but... I'm still trying! :) Like most the old times air of... More
