main street in zakopane

Lots of changes since we last visited, more people and more shops and restaurants, lost its appeal as now too commercialized

This street is lined with open vendor stalls and cute little shops with hand made items. There are lots of benches to sit and enjoy the day while you people watch.

You can't possibly visit Zakopane and not walk down this street! It is the most popular street in Zakopane. Lined with shops, restaurants and bars there is a bit of everything for anyone. There is some great places such as The Sphinx restaurant as well as souvenir stands. It's also a very pretty, I visited when it still had decorations... More

We have been there couple of times, there is plenty of choices for eateries, shops. It can get crowded at times, but it's really easy to find some good places.

Suddenly history, dining, shopping, fashion, lots of people. Recreational true! At other times, too eager to go back!

This is the main street in Zakopane. It is lined with shops, restaurants and bars and is usually busy with visitors who promenade from morning until night. This is the perfect place for people watching and to experience the sights of the Tatra mountains and smells of highlander food.

It used to be beautiful hand crafted wooden pieces, unfortunately Made in China cheap touristy trinkets have flooded the street. Still you have to have a stroll down Krupowki if you visit Zakopane.

We had dinner on this street every night. There were many delicious options and a few shopping stores and a lot of sports shops.
