We visited Rzeszow in June 2014 during the football World Cup. The old town square was buzzing with activity on each evening we were there. We particularly enjoyed the brewery attached to the Bristol hotel and the bar selling Czech beer on the opposite side of the square.

full of life but quiet, surrounded by numerous restaurants, pubs, cafes (indoor, outdoor, some under the surface !) for different tastes, incl. regional food, also a Czech inn with Czech beer. Small but beautifull Town Hall, illuminated at night. Underground tourist trail (entrance from the square). No traffic in the square - all the above makes it a perfect place... More

A lovely 16th century market square. Plenty of restaurants and bars around the edge. If you want to visit the cellars under the square you need to go via the cafe at the far end of the square.

Very romantic and cosy! Both in a summer with its beer gardens and with winter lights on it's a charming little market.

Old square a bit spoiled with noumerous signboards, there are better places of interest in the city (which is overall not very impressing). To enjoy the area 5 min will be enough. Were there in december, before Christmas and actually were expecting to find a Christmas market, but it was missing...

I just like walking there, especially at night, because of the lighting. There is a lot of restaurantspubs or bars and you can smell kebabs in the air:)

A pretty charming place being home to plenty of restaurants. Definitely the best place to eat when doing sightseeing. It is also a nice place to observe Rzeszów's Old Town architecture, especially the Town Hall is worth having a look at.
