Great place!

We live in Krakow, but even after all Krakow's attractions Przemysl old town is really great place to visit. I like it.

Great little city. The historical sights and archetecture are great. If you like history, particularly military history, you will love this place.

For me Przemyśl is the most beautiful city in Poland, Old town with churches, castle, museums and the summer atmosphere is amazing. Beautiful old houses, and extraordinary landscape near the castle build the ancient aurora mediocritas - golden middle. Great place for everyone, despite the age, nationality and knowledge about Poland

simply worth visiting, still no money around, but improving, the museum of pipes and bells, hills around the town, old town ( unfortunately the cafes still rather of poor quality with too little shops, and services, but generally really great town!

I've started going to Przemysyl on a yearly basis to stay with my girlfriends parents and it really is superb. I must admit I didn't know what to expect initially but it doesn't disappoint. The historic buildings remind me of Vienna or Prague and the similarity to Krakow is uncanny, only it's not full of tourists and gift shops! The... More

In the days of the Commune it was 3 hours plus on a train from Krakow. Capitalism means that it now takes nearly 5 hours. When you get there the city centre is great. Lots of places to visit. Typically Polish in that there are lots of Churches but their architecture is far from plain. There is now a pleasant... More

The time is running lower there (In Galician style) than in another cities . This City is dedicated to the individual... More

Many venues to visit within this city, walking may be difficult in some areas because of the steepness of the streets. A castle sits atop the high ground of the city and offers a splendid view of the surrounding area. Many shops and restaurants with very friendly staff. Numerous ATMs, banks, and exchanges are located throughout the city. Main park... More

Very enjoyable walk, well signposted with both maps and markings along the way. Local guidebooks/leaflets in English refer to the same walking route, which is useful. The walk goes around the town but also up the hill and into local parks. Lots to see along the way.
