Loved it I really did, middle of winter, just snowed, it was like a winter wonderland. We have never been to a zoo in Europe in the winter time and we got to see some unusual animals we haven't seen in zoos before, like the maimed wolf, snow leopards, panther, reindeers. Every corner was a surprise we didn't know what... More

On a bit of a lazy day we visited this zoo, which is really easy accessible thanks to the public transport. The zoo is pretty big and there are a lot of animals to see. It is really child friendly and there are several places to sit down and where you can grab something to eat (tip: bring cash! there... More

Perfect to do this on the first day of the year. Sunny and -6 below zero. We could park at the entrance, not aloud every day. The staff at the ticket booth needs a charm course.

There are two parkings: the first one at the bottom of the hill, if you park your car there you need to go up for 15 minutes through the beautiful forest. If you don't want to go by feet you can catch the bus or drive your car up. There is another one parking. Both of them are not for... More

Had a fun day at the zoo, only downside being there isn't as many animals as in some other zoo's, however there is still more than enough. Fun day out and not far from the city (15 min bus for 3-4 zloty)

Great zoo to take kids. We were in Krakow on family vacation. Great little zoo on the outskirts of town. Up on a mountain, beautiful forested area and great zoo layout! Our kids were 7,5 and 4 and we spent 2 hours. The mini-zoo (petting zoo) was a lot of fun!

So after all these raving reviews on trip advisor, I thought that Krakow Zoo would be a great day out. Considering the size of the zoo stated, I believe it was 40 acres or something, I thought that it would be a day well spent but within 10 minutes of arriving I was ready to leave to be honest. When... More

First, if you can do, get out of the car and walk to the zoo. It is located in the centre of a huge park, so it will cost you about half an hour to get there -- but you won't notice time, since the park is truly beautiful. The zoo itself is lovely, you can expect everything that you... More

The setting of the zoo is fantastic. You could easily spend all day here and in the surrounding park. Entry is very cheap and you can get a cab from krakow centre for a fiver. The animals are fabulous and well looked after. There are no guides or maps in English so you just have to explore
