If you visit this church for only a short time, take a while to look at the fantastic detail of all the stain glass windows. At times of day when the sun shines through them, they must be a wondrous sight, but it was evening when I visited. An optional audio guide is available at the door.

A beautiful church with some of the most spectacular stained glass windws in the region. A real hidden gem which appears to be overlooked by many of the crowds so it is unspoilt (unlike what other reviewers have found). If you really like your photography go mid morning on a sunny day to get the truly magnificent effect of the... More

In my guidebook this church even doesn't exist - there is a lot of praise for St Mary, but this is less crowded and a lot more beautiful - great ornaments and colours!

I'd been taken here before to see the Wyspiański stained glass windows, and wasn't overly impressed. To be honest, the interior of the church seemed rather gloomy, and it was chockablock with other tourists wielding large expensive-looking cameras. However, near the end of my visit in Kraków, I made an extra special effort to sneak in and see the stained... More

At some point you are bound to be walking past the Franciscan church so it is worth going in to see the lovely Art Nouveau murals with their flower motifs in still surprisingly bright colours, and the strong designs and colours of the stained glass windows.

We were awestruck by this beautiful church. It is definitely worth a peek. There was a small service going on in a side chapel, and several people were waiting for confession, so make sure to be quiet and respectful when visiting. Pop in for a minute just to take it all in. Wonderful!

Admittedly it has a gloomy atmosphere, but this church is worth visiting to see an amazing polychrome and stained glass of Wyspianski.
