The main thoroughfare through the town, commencing at the Barbican and ending at Wawel Castle. Along the way passing a number of churches, architecturally beautiful buildings, main Market Square and the Cloth Hall. Do remember to look upwards above the numerous shops and restaurants to fully appreciate the architecture, but at the same time keeping one eye out for speeding... More

The Royal Way in Krakow is the path Polish royalty took when they entered the city centuries ago. Almost all of Krakow's most important buildings and sights are along the way. It is short enough to be easily walkable. The streets are cobblestone so wear sensible shoes.

We walked the full mile and back of the Royal Way, taking the Royal walk going, the University route going back to the Main Square. There are alot of lovely buildings along the way, with Pawel Castle at the bottom,

It' s a regular street. May be it' s of some interest when there is a parade, if not it' s not worth a special trip.

This is basically the route from Florian Gate to the Market Center of Krakow: the route that Kings and royalty used when entering Krakow It is also the route of the yearly Parade of Dachshunds - the largest of its kind in Europe - held the 1st Sunday of September. DO NOT MISS IT.

You can follow the route from The Barbican, through the Old Town and up to The Wavel. Plenty of places to visit on the way. You can also explore lots of side streets along the way a find hidden shops, cafes and museums.

It may be crowded but it's still one of the most beautiful routes to take if you want to experience the old town or to just have a taste of Kraków :)

This tour starts in front of St. Mary's Church every day at 11:00 A.M. It's a great way to get an overview of the city. The guide was very informative. The tour lasted about 3 hours, and at the end you tip what you think the tour was worth. The tour ends near the dragon of Wawel Castle. I highly... More
