So much to see and do in one place. From the treasury and Royal Armoury to the State rooms. So much history but leave at least 4 hours to see it all. Don't forget to leave the dragons den to the end of your stay!!

We left visiting the castle until our last day and guess what; all the staterooms and apartments are closed on a Monday, good excuse to visit Krakow again!!!
One of the main sights of Krakow. You simply can't say you've seen the city until you have seen the castle. Opening hours may be weird (until 3pm Sunday), but one day a week is free so check carefully before coming.
I have visited this amazing castle over several visits- very interesting but huge. The view from the castle Is also stunning. Go and see some if it at least, if pushed for time. A must!
When we came to the castle at around 1 or 2 pm almost all tickets for the day were sold out unfortunately. obviously have some day limits - so we managed only to purchase ticket for the observation tower and could not get to the

The different parts of the castle are all priced separately (why not have one ticket to see everything?), and your entrance to each part is timed, so you can't just go at your own pace. We bought...

A very interesting day out. Don't be put off by the queues it is well worth the wait. Best to go early as you buy tickets for each area of the castle individually and some sell out by midday. When we visited it was raining so couldn't spend any time walking in the grounds but I would imagine on a...

Very different feel than Prague, but equally impressive. Did the state room and royal tours - perhaps redundant, but enjoyed the explanations given by the mandatory guide on the royal rooms tour.
