The best thing about this square in Krakow is that every visitor can afford to appreciate it! Lovely cafés and restaurants, the weather was glorious to sit with a beer or coffee and watch the world go round! Lots of different entertainment going on, the beautiful horse and carriages taking visitors round the city, I can't recommend it enough! In... More

The old square was "OK" but once you had been there - you had done it. Was better to wander down the side streets and explore the real Krakow. The Dutch influenced buildings, the many churches, Small squares with nice small bars to sit outside and enjoy the sun and passers by.

Food not great quality but cheap. Eat inside not out as beggars could be a pain. The shops for souvenirs were brilliant. Staff were not the friendlisest

This square has a nice atmosphere. Some churches can be visited and it is a great place to eat. Some tents with regional food can be found and have great regional food. In the evening the place also has nice bars where you can take a drink and food.

I visited it both during the day and during the night. It was the same impressive. You could travel back in time in such a place. What a history. I definitely recommend it. The only thing that bothered me was the restaurant people on the square trying to convince you to enter the restaurants.

We've just arrived in Krakow and spent the day walking near our rented apartment, a few blocks from the Main Square. It is an enormous square, with fountains, statues, shops, and many restaurants and cafes that line it's outer borders. People watching is terrific any time of day, but best at night, when the lights on the nearby buildings and... More

It is truly a huge square with lovely shops and restaurants there. St. Mary's church is just at the side of the square. Beautiful architecture.
