Bought a ticket to Schindler's museum and got this visit at a discounted rate. Lovely building with varied exhibitions, even though not a fan of contemporary art, I enjoyed it.

Mocak is Krakow's Contemporary Art Museum, a short tram ride from the Old Town and a couple of minutes' walk from the Plac Bohaterow Getta, a square commemorating the Krakow Ghetto. The walk to the Museum led us through a street called Kacik (little corner), quiet and atmospheric, leading to what looked like a small overgrown wasteland. In the midst... More

This museum is pretty big, and with such interesting exhibitions it took us a few hours... I felt like I could have been there longer! When we were there in July 2014 they had one exhibition about crime in art, another about the situation in Ukraine and another one with contemporary Polish artists. The standard was high and I got... I went here after visitng The Schindler's Museum and I thought it had a modern twist on contemporary art. It had some very interesting topics and pieces that draws you in I would recommend people to visit and it's quite inexpensive. I think it was about 2 pound enterence fee. I would visit again.

There are many of Polish and Ukrainian contemporary art what I've never seen before. Very inspired of this museum. I recommend to go if you are interested in contemporary art.

It is pretty cheap if you go to Schindler because you can buy both tickets. Most of the exhibits were interesting, but some were hard to understand. I guess that usually happens with contemporary art :)

We visited the gallery on a Tuesday which meant we got free entry. It's a very spacious, airy gallery which is well lit. The main exhibition we saw was about crime in art, a thought provoking mix of the macarbre and bizarre. After the exhibition we had a lovely coffee and cake in the on site cafe. Well worth the... Have been there twice - once with a guide and once without. The art itself is great but the written commentaries on the exhibits are a joke: instead of giving you a brief note on the author's biography and some info on the origin of the piece, they actually tell you how you should interpret the whole thing, often in...
