After visiting Schindler's Factory I thought I would have lunch in the cafe of MOCAK and then look at the exhibitions. I went into the cafe and there appeared to be private party of business people there. There were no staff around so I returned to the main desk. They didn't know what was going on either???? So I thought... More

It is always difficult to rate a museum because the rating is depending on the current exhibition, but the curators have made such a good job in this case that I think a visit to MOCAK is always worth a try. We saw the crime exhibition and it was scary and touched us and some of the works have left... More

My partner typically does not enjoy art galleries, and so I was quite surprised that he found this one interesting and enjoyable. On a whim we purchased a ticket at the Oskar Schindler factory next door and went in with the intention of having a quick look, but ended staying about an hour and would have gladly stayed longer if... The MOCAK is located right next door to Schindler's Factory. A great venue on it's own!! The exhibits change, but I would think are always first class!! Has a nice coffee shop!!!

I wouldn't bother going out of your way to visit Mocak. Though the building is large and has so much potential, most of what is on display is really weak. As in, 'Since it's in a museum, it must be art'. I can't find the words to describe how pointless the permanent collection is. The temporary exhibit was poorly laid... More

Some interesting exhibitions here. Not expensive to visit and a good cafe. It's next to the Schindler factory so useful to visit both at the same time.

. Come contemplate conceptual contemporary art in their cool concrete corridors. With constantly changing exhibitions from BIG name artists & rising stars - always ambitious.. accessible. but any day’s a good day to hole up read n' relax in their reading room, do some shop' at the Bookstore or just grab a coffee & cake at MOCAK Café. Check the... More

We visited as we were already going to the Schindler Museum next door. In a slightly run down area of the city we got a tram over on a very cold, snowy day. Neither of us are great fans of 'installations' so the first part of the exhibition left us a bit cold. These things always mean more to the... More

The Museum of Contemporary Art is a short walk across the river from the Old Town and Wawel Castle area, next to the Schindler's factory museum. It's an impressive space showing some cutting edge art. The "Kunst Macht Frei" sign in one of the galleries is a bit hard to take after visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau. Definitely worth a visit if you...
