A very high-tech history of Krakow. Interesting and well thought out. Note you have to check your bags at the entrance.

For those who like it , its a picture of the past days and how the city was built. Archaeology at its best and very well presented and detailed.

Wow took us nearly two hours and could have been there longer. Result of an archaeological dig which took 5 years. Recently opened there is so much to see regarding the history of the area going back hundreds of years

Go underground to see what was going on for the last thousand years or so. Allow a couple of hours. Films that are situated at end of self-guided tour might be better if seen first.

There was a lot to do for adults and kids, and all of the staff seemed to speak just about any language you could ask for (though I can only comment on the fluency of their English, which was perfect). Thouroughly recommended, particularly if you have a bit of a rainy day during your stay

The art gallery is small but fabulous paintings by Polish and Italian artists. Don't miss The Lady with Ermine painting by Leonardo da Vinci now at Wawel Castle in Krakow Poland.

I went to the Art Museum at Market Square for free on Sunday (10/8). Appreciate Polish artists and their work after the visit.

Spent about 2 hours here and we hired an English tour guide to narrate along our tour. Indeed very informative and glad to know more about Krakow and Poland. If you are interested in knowing the stories behind this wonderful country, I highly advise you to start your tour with this Museum.

The markets and associated goings-on (horses, carriages, church bells and trumpeter, actors, living sculptures, buskers and street touts) are definitely worth a visit. The hot chocolate at the market-side restaurants/bars is to die for.
