We did two tours with Discover Cracow on two different days. The first one was to the salt mines, we hopped on a new Minibus and get off at the mine, where a guide from the mine itself made a funny tour with us. In general, this tour was very interesting, but in our impression, more a ride there and... More

The company seemed a little disorganised when we arrived and departed from the venue, but things were soon sorted out. An excellent tour, but make sure you will be up for the task - there are over 800 steps, 350 of which you do straight off at the very beginning. There is also a lot walking. But what you see... Can't fault the service very well organised. Hotel pick up and drop off. They turned up exactly on time. We had the choice to be dropped off at a different location on return. Comfortable and modern mini bus and Sophie the guide was very pleasant.

Went on this tour and found it thorough and respectful. Personally I found three hours in this place between the two camps ample - I grabbed a quick burger for lunch - to be honest I wouldn't have wanted to prolongue time here by lunching - it's an evil place and it left me deeply affected - but I think... Went 31st March 2015. Booked through Discover Krakow. Minibus pickup from the hotel, hours ride to Auschwitz during which we watched an introductory film. When we reached Auschwitz 1 we were handed over to a fantastic guide who, with the aid of a microphone and headphones, took us around various parts of the camp. We then took the bus to... More

We were picked up on Easer Monday outside the Sheritan Hotel in Kraków. It is only a 15 min drive and the guides on the tour bus and in the mines were very good. There are a lot of steps/walking so not for those with any difficulties in walking....... Amazing to realise all the tunnels and caves are man maded.... More

We took the Auschwitz tour with Discover Cracow, booked through our hotel. It cost 100 per person. Some of the other tours provide lunch with theirs and you will understand as I continue, why this is relevant. We were picked up at 10.30 and had some other pick ups. The journey to Auschwitz, once we had finished picking up took... More

Booked the half day trips to Auschwitz & the salt mines on back to back days. I think this was the best option considering there were options to do it all on one day. The only reason why 5 stars were not given was because of the small tour bus. On the way to Auschwitz the heat was turned up... More

Keen to visit both Auschwitz and Wieliczka Salt Mines we compared on line and also at hotel/ tourist info offices in Krakow - but this seemed far better value than any €139 for both tours for one adult and 2 teens- split over 2 days. An early start for Auschwitz but we were given an exact pick up time- and... More

Don't do this on the cheap. I booked a tour with Discover Krakow who picked us up from our hotel, took us to Auschwitz and we were taken on a tour by a fantastic, well informed guide. We all had headphones and the guide a microphone so we could browse the exhibits and still hear the commentary perfectly. The tour... More
