There was a large group of CSers there on the weekend for the Jewish tour. Jack gave us so much information and knew so much, that we hardly had to ask any questions! I could tell that he is quite passionate about this information. At the end of the tour we were surprised that he has only recently started doing... More

I recently did a free walking tour with Pavel with a group of CSers. He was an excellent guide, he knew his stuff, could give lots of info, answer any questions but he really seemed more like a best friend than a guide and I loved that! When I come back (and I will) I know taking another tour is... More

The "probably the best guide in the world" indeed is the one ;) Great atmosphere, nicely told stories - even history-stories haters gonna love it! I'm looking forward to next trip with you guys, maybe this summer :) More

We did both but on separate days. Fantastic! Learned tons about Krakow, and the Jewish tour was a revelation since my knowledge of Jewish culture and history is pretty limited. Guides are friendly and informative. From now on I always try to find a free walking tour on the first day I visit a new city. I'm a convert! More

I loathe walking tours. The only thing worse is a free walking tour usually led by some foreign backpacker hoping to get a few more Euros for a bowl of soup. But....this one was totally exceptional. They only use local guides - professionaly qualified. They know their stuff but they don't bore the crap out of you. Lots of local... More

I skipped the free walking tours since it didn't fit my schedule, but opted for the Schindler's Kraków tour. Since I ended up being the only one doing the tour I had to pay a little more which was fine by me. (I had the option of skipping the tour). My guide was Dorothy. The tour was about Schindler's sites... More

We did the Jewish Ghetto tour as well as the Royal tour. Both tours are extremely informative and the guides are very fun and personable. The Jewish Ghetto tour entails a good amount of walking so be prepared. The Royal tour is a little less walking and a little shorter. Both are recommended and we only wished we had time... More

We were a party of three ladies from England. We discovered the Free Walking Tours quite by accident. We did two tours, the Royal tour of the city centre and the also the Jewish quarter. Both were absolutely excellent. Our guide, Chris, on the first tour spoke brilliant English with a Monty Python twist! He was very well informed and... More

We joined the Royal Route tour by accident in the Market Square - and what a discovery!! The guide, Jakob, was excellent. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, funny - and spoke excellent English. The tour lasted 3 hours and took in everything that we were planning to do that day just using our DK Guide Book. These guys do the tours for... More
